Went with my brother and friend a couple weeks ago. I admit it may not be the usual experience because it was 8 PM on a Saturday evening, but all 3 of us witnessed a woman shooting drugs out in the open, right there in the parking lot in front of the porta-potty. Safe to say, we did not get out of the car and venture further. It's kind of sad to me, because in my earlier childhood, I would spend a lot of time here on the summer breaks. Unfortunately, times have changed and the park is not family friendly past dusk. Go at your own risk.
There are porta potties, but the playground is really run down and full of graffiti and trash. There is at least a grassy area by the field for the kiddos to run around.
This is a great place to take your kids. But make sure you stop in the corner of the park and say hello to Brian if he's working in his driveway or backyard. He is a fine individual who would gladly give you a glass of tea or coffee.
It was awesome I saw lots of nature if I'm hungry there is gas station nearby McDonald's right next to it, so really I could just sit there all day just laying in the grass and I have no problem I'd just be content with what I'm doing
Well you can't bowl here but it's a nice little park at the top of the hill at Blondo at about 71st St. Got a baseball field, a few other amenities. Playground, basketball court and walking trails.
Dirty trash everywhere Port a potty was full and nasty Dirty the dug outs were full of trash overall not a good experience
Very nice ballfield, but for scheduled games only. Outhouse is good for quick pit stops.
It was a nice park
We use this as our home field for a 14U team. We play teams from a wide area including Lincoln, Blair and Gretna. It is embarrassing that there is graffiti on the bleachers. Several calls have been made, but the inappropriate language is still there.
Nice field; no amenities. A couple porta potties
