VERY good chicken sandwiches! The Boxcar is simply amazing. I was very wary due to the interesting combination of foods, but I decided to go for it. I was very pleased to say the least! The chicken was crispy and tender and all the flavors worked so well with each other. Everything tasted fresh too. Their fried pickles were on point as well and they serve it with a fantastic dill dipping sauce. The French fries we got were also well seasoned and well cooked. The restaurant was clean, the staff were nice, and the ambiance was great. Definitely come here and give it a try!

First time at Boxcar Betty’s but certainly not the last. Since it was our first time here we asked for recommendations they told us to go with the most popular choice the boxcar. We got our drinks but the ice machine was broken, but the drinks were still drinkable. We sat down our table number was 6 the server brought us our food and good lord we were not prepared for the amazing experience this sandwich gave us! Haha literally we said chick fil a who? There are 3 locations in the low country- please start building more. We will be coming back to this location to try out other food items but the sandwich was beyond our expectations. The coleslaw on the chicken sandwich with pimiento sauce was just brilliant! I opted for no pickles and the sandwich was still tasteful. They have the option sweet fries or regular old school fries I highly suggest the regular fries they are crunchy and full of flavor. The set up inside is very much set into the feel of 1950’s dinner vibe very simple, classic and clean. It’s a must try for everyone. Don’t change what is working Boxcar Betty’s.

I got the boxcar crispy chicken sandwich and it was lovely. The mix of ingredients with it's sweet salty sour and spicy was just right. Only wish that the sandwich was more filling. Kinda pricy considering you're only getting a sandwich for like 8$ no sides no drinks but the flavor is all right

Have you ever had something that tasted so good that you wanted to cross a line? I mean like walk back in the kitchen and hug the cook. Not a short hug. Im talking about an uncomfortably long hug. With a side of tears on the shoulder. For the record I restrained myself and did not do that...yet Well do I have the place for you then! That Chicken Sandwich was so good I felt like every bite was being narrated by Morgan Freeman while an army angelic harps played Hallelujah. Seriously it just the best Chicken sandwich in the universe. The make their ingredients fresh. Organic Chicken, they make their own pickles, pimento cheese, and buffalo sauce. They have the best Sweet Potato fries I've ever eaten. The only Chicken sandwich that is better than the one i just ate is the one I’ll eat next time.

Best chicken sandwiches in town hands down! You can either get their unique options or make your own! I honestly feel like anything you put together is tasty! My only problem were that the fries were mediocre and the prices aren't wallet friendly. It will probably be one of the most expensive lunches you will have in the area. But TREAT YO SELF! It will be worth it!....Oh yeah and they serve BEER!!!

The buffalo chicken sandwich is my go to and it’s always delicious! Then finishing it off with a pecan pie in a cup - yum! I go mostly on my lunch break and they are always super fast. Only thing, every time I go the tables are super sticky and the floor is super slippery.

Fresh made to order. They have a spin on classic sandwiches. Different but tasty. They are also are Eco friendly with they goods and waste. Go check them out.

Portobello sandwich and sweet potato fries are awesome.Love the selections of topping on the build your own menu. Peach slaw is so good on your sandwich and I love the sweet chili sauce.

A notch up from the more famous chicken sandwich place. A wide variety of different condiments to put on the sandwich. Portabello sandwiches also available. The setting is a little tricky to get to as you turn into a parking lot behind the CB.

Great chicken sandwich. Very friendly and helpful service. This place is kinda hard to find but it's worth the effort.
