Amazing anytime at the night the sunset is beautiful the scenery and surroundings are beautiful. It's a very special place. Bathrooms are also not bad and very warm.
Boxcar Park is a great place to see people flying enormous kites, walking dogs, and exercising in the fresh air. It’s a great open space that is hardly ever crowded except occasionally when the city uses it for fun summer events. Boxcar is a beautiful place from which to see the Cascades on a clear day, and to watch sunsets to the accompaniment of Taps from the nearby Navy base. You can see the tops of the sails of wind surfers on the other side of Jetty Island, and speculate, if you had the bank account, which of the boats moored at the marina would you choose, and where would you go in it? Walk down over the Grand Avenue Park pedestrian bridge, or drive down and rejoice in the informal but ample parking. The city is doing more development at that part of the marina now, and I hope it brings this casual, windy, salty landmark to more people’s attention and enjoyment.
The best park! I love that it's local to me. An excellent park to walk, flat paved walking around the park and Marina. You might even see a Seal or two! People often fly kites here or walk their dogs. The Sunsets are killer, bring a camera!
Beautiful park Super windy at the time we went!
Great little park. However you to pay there. Has historical value and good photo opportunities.
Beautiful sunsets along Everett's waterfront, nice early evening breezes a great place for kit flying I believe they have special days and hours for flying kits there's flat paved paths to walk along on the waterfront and places to eat close and don't forget to bring some bread for mama and papa duck they are local residents of boxcar park.
Love walking out here and looking at the water.
Such a beautiful fun park. People fly kites, walk their dogs, play Frisbee. The Ocean , salt air is intoxicating! A person can walk around the park on a flat concrete walkway .
Beautiful path to walk by the water.
This has become a regular visits for us. A great area to walk and gaze at the boats going out to Puget Sound. We come here year round and it never gets old. Be sure to along the water front as you have many areas to enjoy. Lots of benches as well if you need to sit or simply take in the views.
