This park was so quiet and nobody was here on a Saturday afternoon, which is what we look for when going to a park. The splash pad has a canopy over it to shade the little ones on a hot day! There is a fence around the entire park as well. We will definitely be coming back!
Took my son there for his birthday after the beach trip. He's autistic and he's such a happy little guy but when we got to the splash pad on top of it having a numerical code lock it had a pad lock and chain around it. He got so sad and it was disappointing. . We pay taxes just as much as everyone else in ocean springs and not only should my child have access to the recreational areas but other children should too. I literally saw two cars pull in and one was leaving . Needless to say we all left.children need more to do. Don't keep them from having something to do.
They are in the middle of some upgrades but look to be complete fairly soon. They've added shade over the entire splash area and it's fantastic!! Can't wait til it's complete! Job well done!!
It is fully covered, but bring an umbrella if you want a shaded bench to sit on. Perfect for the 5 and under crowd.
Went here to let a 4 year old to play in the splash pad on a Saturday afternoon at 11 am. It looked really nice. It was even covered. But it was closed for some reason. Oh well now I've got a screaming 4 year old.
Great place, just sometimes the bathrooms are locked..
This playground needs repairs. Some of the metal structure is completely rusted, leaving exposed jagged metal. Otherwise it's a good neighborhood park
I bring my kids back year after year. It's a great and free!! place to take the kids to cool off. Now residing under a giant canapy, the splash pad is a favorite among our family. But there's great playground equipment there too.
Very impressed for the drive back in here. You drive threw a neighborhood to get to it. I don't see the fishing water like it shows. Not at the splash pad anyway. It would be cool if you could throw a fishing pole while you kid plays in the splash pad. Very clean very friendly. Nice park and splash pad. Water pressure could be better. But it's free and I'm giving 5 stars. Thank you ocean springs and Jackson county. Perfect spot for a birthday party.
Love this splash pad. As long as the city keeps it fixed and taken care of. Changing my review grade because the city just decides to close it all week and keep it closed through July 4 holiday. Guess this splash pad is not that important to the city as it is to the children that love it. Since it is the only 1 of 2 only splash pads to go to.
