This was the first time that I had to organize a funeral. My uncle Leonard Crews entrusted me with organizing his homegoing. The outstanding staff at Boyd & Royster's made the process much easier and comfortable than I expected. They provided me a list of their services and the costs up front. I explained to them my uncle's wishes and they never tried to push "extras" on me. We had the service in their spacious chapel and everyone was comfortable. They treated us and my uncle's body with dignity and respect from where he was initially picked up all the way to his final resting place. Superb work B&R!!!

From the 1st phone call until now one month after the passing of my mom Stanley and the staff at Boyd & Royster have taken such great care of my family. Stanley was so patient with our family during our time of bereavement. He was available to answer any questions we had and added personal details we didn’t even think of. The team at Boyd and Royster were very attentive during the planning of my mother's homegoing. The provided us with A1 service and responded to all of my specific needs regardless of how small or large they were. I felt that they listened to our vision and executed the plan with perfection.
I didn't like how they did my aunt's burial, Miss Bernice Bryant. Even though it was raining day if the funeral, but they never returned to check the grave site after that and the casket had really sunken inland you could almost see the burial box. Stop by the burial area last year and it still the same...just sunken in worser than before. I guess it all depends on your insurance money before they'll give you a respectable burial. The entire family was very disappointed in their services and I wouldn't recommend them personally to anyone unless you're loaded with money.
My experience with this funeral home was the worse. They swapped my rights as a child to be at my father’s funeral. They allowed people to bring in false documents showing false information to remove all rights from my mom to bury her husband.
