Any time we travel through Altoona, we stop at the Boyer outlet store. Wide selection of products, including mugs, tees, and hoodies as well as chocolate and seasonal gift baskets. They also sell boxed "imperfects" at a bargain price. Store staff are very helpful, without being intrusive. Can't wait to bite into a dark chocolate Mallocup!
I really enjoyed the visit. And don't tell anyone, but the candy is super fresh and super cheap.
Amazing little Outlet store. Very clean and organized. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Big selection. If you're in the area and love mallow Cups, you must see.
The place to be for mallow cup lovers. A short way off of the main highway Altoona PA. You can get a 5 lb box of "imperfect" mallow cups for just $15. They also have bags of misc broken chocolates with nuts plus several other products as well as their official inspected products at discount prices. Hats, shirts & mugs too. Not a huge store, but has what you want. No factory tours, but has several live video feeds from a couple popular candy making steps like the mallow injection step. Nice staff. Trivia - Only ~5% of customers redeem the mallow money included in each double-cup mallow cup wrapper. 500 mallow play money coins = $2.00 cash or merchandise!!
Always stop at the outlet and grab a few bags of their rejects, they're just as good as the regular items and very reasonably priced. Plus they have tshirts, mugs, collector items. Boyer is always in the shadows but really shine with their products. Take the time to visit and grab a few things it's worth it
This is a great place to purchase Boyers candies, however they don't carry a lot of dark chocolate candy.. in fact the only one that we saw was dark chocolate mallow cups in small 8 packs. Otherwise, still a great place to get your Boyers candies, peanut butter,, yum yum . Right now they do have some Easter chocolate/ candy.
I had my first Mallo Cup today in over 50 years! It was just the same as I remember! Still the same size candy that tastes so good! I'm happy to see Boyer hasn't changed it. Thank you !!
Ample parking, great prices on mallow cups and Clark bars. Had various sized bags and boxes. Some dark chocolate choices as well as milk chocolate.
Darn they ruined mallocups by removing the coconut? Even the smoothies and pb cups taste different. Y eff up a good product.
This Boyer Candy store was small, but it sold their main products of Mallo Cups, Clark bars, peanut butter cups, and butterscotch smoothie cups. They also sold products with their logo, including shirts and mugs. I am giving a neutral rating because the employee kept me waiting at the checkout while he talked on the phone for several minutes. I think that he could have either continued the phone call later or rung up my item while he talked.
