The very first woman I encountered when I walked through the door was not very kind. The actual woman who registered me, and the person who drew my blood were so kind though! I will definitely be back for any blood work or imaging that I may need in the future. I hope the first woman has a better day!
I been coming here for mammograms about 5 years now. It’s always been about as pleasant as a mamo can be. I decided to rate and review today because of who the staff had to deal with while I was there. Got out of my car and this woman was in the parking lot screaming at someone she was on the phone with. She attempted to race me to the door. I did not engage in the race because I was early for my apt and am not dying to be 1st for a mamo. She was a few paces ahead of me and was well aware I was there and chose to shut both doors in my face. She was ahead of me in line so I saw and heard her interactions with front desk staff. It all seemed quite routine. My experience with front desk was also very routine. Staff member was kind and professional. This woman went back to the waiting area and made another phone call where she complained about how mean the staff here is to her, cried and then became angry with whoever she was on the phone with and yelled at them using the F word and hung up on them. When I got called back I had to walk past her to enter the door and she made some nasty comment about how staff were nice to me but mean to her and gave me a dirty look. I went back out to waiting room. A different staff member called her back and asked her how her day was and she growled that it was horrible. We were both there for the same thing. I found the experience to be fine. I encountered the same 2 staff members she did. I have no idea what the problem was that she had with the staff and I’m sure she wasn’t an easy patient to deal with. I never heard or saw anyone being unkind or unprofessional to her and they were still nothing but kind and professional to me right on the heels of whatever that was. So I think they deserve 5 stars.
I had to go in for a CT scan and I get so anxious and sick when I need an IV because I am always told I am a tough stick. If you ever need blood drawn or a scan involving an IV I highly recommend Roxanne to do it for you. She was so understanding and tried her best to distract me. I still needed two sticks but both times they barely hurt, Roxanne honestly did better than any ER nurse, nurse, or IV team I have ever encountered. She was so kind the entire time and really made me feel calm and cared for.
Signage horrible! Had no idea which building to go to for my imaging study. Staff were rude. I see why Tower health is tanking with these ignorant staff.
