I have been working in the skincare industry for 10 years and have been a Licensed Medical Aesthetician for the last 5 years. After graduating from the Aveda Institute with a degree in Esthiology Science, I furthered my mastery of skincare with gaining additional certification in TCA Advanced Peeling and Microdermabrasion. I’m a big believer of anti-aging skincare and preventative maintenance in order to keep yourself looking as young as you feel. When you spend an hour with me, I will have you looking and feeling vibrant as well as have you educated (in English or Spanish) on how to take care of your skin when at home. I several types of chemical peels which are formulated with different acids
Glycolic or Salicylic Acid
Ideally used to treat patients with oily, and acne prone skin
Less likely to cause irritation as it does not reach very deeply into the skin
We recommend a series of 3-6 peels spaced 4-6 weeks apart to see optimal results
TCA (Trichloroacetic Acid)
One of the strongest chemical peels depending on its percentage strength
Ideally used to treat fine lines, deeper wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, and melasma
The concentration of the TCA depends on the reason for use as well as the natural skin color of the patient
The stronger the concentration, the greater the irritation and downtime, as this is a deeper peel
Each peel series is individually tailored to each patient, and can be combined with other procedures such as microderabrasion and medical facial treatments.
