Nestled in a rural area just a short drive during the park hammock away from Tallahassee sits the coolest historic store you will find in the entire state of Florida. Talk about a walk back into an earlier time, oh how I would have loved to have been alive during this era. Bradley’s will bring that nostalgic feeling into your soul as you enter the store and explore all the goodies. They have fresh meats, candies, canned products, Soaps and so much more. Sit upon the tractor seats and enjoy lunch and just reminisce back into time. This place does not disappoint.
Store definitely gives you that back in day vibe. Has the old country like smell to it. I've always heard about their homemade sausage they have here. We stopped here for some of their sausage. They offer the sausage cooked or raw. I was pretty anxious to try one of these homemade sausages however I wasn't necessarily a fan. It kinda tasted like they had been boiled and all the flavor was boiled out. We did buy some to take home and will probably try them in the air fryer or on the grill. The sausage comes in mild medium and hot. They also have other smoke meats that you can purchase as well.. Along with a slew of other items.
July 22, 2023 Just bought two 6” mild sausages in buns. Both were extremely over cooked, with black outer skin. Totally beyond well done insides, dry and not even hot. Had to throw then out after only two bites. They used to do much better than this.
My family and I went to this place yesterday. We looked around but they didn't have any beef products. On our way out I decided to pick up some of those flavored candies to purchase and stepped literally around the corner to get a drink. The elderly lady pushed my items to the side and started to ring up another customer. If you know this store you know the drinks are less than 3 steps away.She told me in a very rude way to wait. I couldn't believe her and the way she was looking so angry. Wow I left the items of course because there was no way I was going to do business with this kind of rudeness. Retire lady if you don't want to serve mankind. Need more LOVE and Respect Not Hate.
The delicacy that is the Bradley’s sausage dog… an iconic, fun, nostalgic Tallahassee gem. Every Saturday, athletes converge on this store to run and bike on the sublime Georgia clay trails. Then comes the obligatory ‘dog, which has never wavered in quality and taste for years. It is a fully stocked store with a butcher shop, canned goods, toys, trinkets, etc. Twenty years from now, I hope to walk in the Bradley’s Country Store and everything by exactly as it is!
Great as always. Stocked up we are from out of town on sausage, sweet fire relish, got a sausage dog which we enjoyed at a picnic table under the beautiful oaks.
Always a special treat to make the beautiful drive and then indulge in my favorite smoked sausage!!!! Never disappointed!
Always love coming here. The sausage is awesome and the people there always friendly. If you haven't been here yet, you are missing out!
When the azaleas are blooming, it's a great drive from Tally. It's quite a nostalgic sit on the front porch place. The sausage is yummy. Don't bother with the 1918 Dillons gourmet chocolate peanuts; they are tasteless and over priced.
Long old Tallahassee treasure. A real old-timey country store and the family that runs it offer hand maid foods and a butcher's shop. A wide selection of soda pops and flavors of a bygone time like sasperilla, grape nee hi, birch beer, and root beers. Foods seniors grew up with like stage planks. You will have a fine time there.
