My father died on June 2nd and still have not received his death certificates. Shaun will answer the phone or return messages. He is not easy to deal with. I would recommend to anyone to use another funeral director. Stay away from Brady’s.
My name is Bruce G. Sandmeyer and I wholeheartedly recommend Brady Funeral Home. My mother recently passed away and of course it was a very difficult time. Sean Brady from the time we met him guided us through the funeral process and helped us make appropriate decisions for our mom. He was infinitely patient with our many questions. Sean most of all comforted us and showed our family deep compassion and understanding as we coped with this tremendously difficult and emotional time. My mother had a long illness and in many ways did not look the way we always remembered her prior to her death. We gave Sean pictures of mom and he prepared her looking like she did two years ago. He captured her essence as though he knew her all his life. When we saw mom prior to the funeral we were moved to tears in seeing our mom the way we remembered her. A funeral is a difficult time and Sean Brady truly helped us. Thank you Sean.
I'd give this funeral home zero stars in I could. Horrible communication with family members, nothing is completed in a timely fashion, and the lack of compassion and kindness from Sean Brady is DISGUSTING. Please, if you read any review and listen to it, let it be this one. Losing a family member is so hard. Do not use this funeral home because they will make it so much harder!
Nephew passed away Nov 4. 2021 and family still has not received death certificate. Coroner stated it was sent to BFH Jan 21, 2022 BFH will not respond to calls, bad enough my sister is in deep grief for the loss of her son, but this lack of respect to at least communicate reason for not responding is unacceptable and is embarrassing to his Father's good reputation before he retired.
Unfortunately, this funeral home has gone lost its good reputation when the son and grandson took over. Poor communications with family, lack of publishing obits in newspapers in a timely manner, and the list goes on. Maybe family needs to re-evaluate priorities, and get the help they need
My family has used Brady Funeral Home for years, but NEVER again after the way my daughter was treated after the passing of her father. They were very disrespectful and ignorant , no compassion at all ,only thing she got from them was lied to and taken advantage of. I highly suggest you think twice about using them.
After two generations of excellent undertaking services, we could not think of going elsewhere. That was until we experienced poor planning, little ceremony organization, and "leave a message; we'll call back at our convenience"-type communication. I pleaded with my family to give them another chance partly out of old irish catholic smalltown loyalty and experienced similar problems at the next funeral, and have prayer cards that look like they were DIY home-printed on perf paper. We went with Visneski for the next one and it felt more like the service we would have gotten from Jack or David in ages now passed.
Shawn and Rachel were extremely nice. Had both in-laws done with the Brady's and they did the same job as they did for them. Helpful and concern during a tough situation. I appreciated their help during this time.
I have nothing but great things to say about Sean and Rachel Brady. They handled both of my parents funerals with dignity and absolute professionalism. I highly recommend Brady funeral home !!!
Truly disappointed in the service. Multiple phone calls to the answering service, many not returned. We waited six weeks for death certificates. Final bill was overcharged $464.00 for services not received. I was told there would be a military discount, didn't get that either. Still waiting for a call back to rectify the over payment.
