Brandon Varisco is an Investment Adviser Representative with Financial Management Services of America. He was born and raised in South Louisiana, and currently he lives and works in Breaux Bridge, La. Brandon specializes in financial planning, financial advice, portfolio management, and life insurance. He graduated from college in 2012, receiving a Bachelors of Science in Business with a minor in Finance. He is currently furthering his education, specifically focusing on Financial Services, with the ultimate goal of achieving the designation ChFC, which is a Chartered Financial Consultant. Before joining the FMSA team in 2017, he spent the previous 9 years growing and learning with a different advisory firm, Oxford Asset Management. Before his life in Finance, Brandon served more than 6 years of Army active duty as an Army Paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division. While in the Army Brandon served as a Black Hawk Helicopter Mechanic, Crew-Chief and Door-Gunner. He accumulated over 500 flight hours in combat and just over 1000 general flight hours total. He ultimately rose to the rank of Sargent and was assigned as a squad leader. In that capacity, Sgt. Brandon Varisco led a squad of some of the most effective, well trained, and combat successful Crew-Chiefs the Army can produce. He completed two combat deployments; one in Afghanistan in 2007, and one in Iraq 2003'-2004'. Brandon also provided airspace protection around Camp David with the Secret Service for President George W. Bush. He was honorably discharged in 2008, some of his awards and badges include; Army Airborne jump wings, 2 Army Accommodation medals, an Army Combat Action badge, an Overseas medal, a Global War on Terrorism medal, Afghanistan and Iraq campaign medal, 3 Air Medals and one additional Air Medal with a V device for Valor in combat.
