A window into the wonders of Nature
The Brandwein Nature Learning Preserve offers a unique experience for photographers, students, educators and naturalists. A perfect site for birding and observing nature, enhanced by Rutgers Creek and featuring a diversity of habitat, the Brandwein Nature Learning Preserve experience has been designed to provide ease of access and features well maintained trails. Group visits are welcome and ample parking for large vehicles is available at the site. A covered pavilion at the entrance to the Preserve provides ample space for large groups to gather before or after heading onto the trails. The vision of Paul and Mary Brandwein-to create a haven for appreciating and understanding the natural world around us, continues on through the passion and dedication of renown professionals in the fields of education, conservation and natural studies. Their efforts have culminated in the opening of the Preserve and an open invitation to share their knowledge, passion and expertise through online programs designed to enhance student understanding.
You are invited to visit the Preserve, connect with the Institute and share your own experiences, observations and photos on this page.
To perpetuate the work of Paul F-Brandwein, the Institute is dedicated to the education of all learners in recognition of their interdependence with nature and responsibility for sustaining a healthful and healing environment.
