This park is convenient as possible to Philly. The hosts, Matt and Carmen, were very friendly, and helpful with sightseeing suggestions. The park is clean and well maintained; we would definitely stay here again. Taking the train from the Downingtown station to Jefferson Station Philly historic area was easy and definitely the way to get there. The train station is only 6 miles from the campground with parking lots on both sides of the tracks. The train is smooth and comfortable even if it was an hour ride each way. We also visited the Amish areas which was interesting, especially on Sunday when there are many of them traveling by horse and buggy.
Although the Brandywine Creak Campground on Marsh Lake has some residential campers, the RVs, trailers & grounds are extremely well kept. We stayed four nights in a large quiet, tree-lined spot. Will definitely stay here again on another visit to the Brandywine.Service: 5/5
We came here to stay for a night amd 2 days with my FIL while they were staying there for the week. This campground is well kept, clean, quiet, family friendly, and, best of all, pet friendly. There is a slow and shallow river that runs through the campsite, which is great for fishing as well as a very nice pond. Overall, if you get a chance to stay here, you should. There are many places within driving distance such as restaurants and parks that we thoroughly enjoyed. The pool is huge and very well kept.
Nice quiet privately owned campground. Small playground, nice pool and a creek.
Best Campground in Chester County!!! We stayed for a month from March to April for the birth of our Grandchild and our stay was Nice and Quiet with Full Winter Hookup. We loved having our site next to the buitiful mountainside and Trout Stocked Creek. We only had a small commute to all area stores. Carmen and her hubby was a wonderful host and her father Les was a big help with our site #53. Looking to stay again soon! Rich & Sharon
The park is located along a very picturesque narrow winding road Big Rig friendly just be careful. There is pavement all the way including inside the park. Signage is a little on the small side and you don’t see it until you are on top of it.. Check in was efficient and friendly. The rules are fairly basic. Our site, 45, was a gravel pull through that was plenty long enough for our Coach and Towed. Services 30 amp, water and sewer only were to the left side. Our sewer connection was a little on the high side but still usable. Distancing is not bad for a rural park. Some sites had a vegetation privacy barrier. Each site has a table and a fire pit. Our site was flat and even. Overall the park was well manicured The park included wifi worked well. There is no cable TV but we were able to find some OTA channels but reception was very spotty. Satellite might be difficult in some site because of trees We did not use the washrooms or showers but we checked and found them dated but clean the same for the laundromat. A good sized pool is available in season as well as a playground, basket ball court etc. There is a very pretty creek running along side the property. This is a very quiet and relaxing park. There are no restaurants or stores within easy walking distance but just a short drive away you can find food, shopping and convenience stores. We paid $0.00 per night and we feel we received fair value. We will be back if in the area again.
Nice quiet little RV Park, very pretty with trees and a small river, and fishing pond. Playground and laundry.Rooms: 5/5
This was our first time at Brandywine Creek Campground. We had a great time because they provided everything we needed for our RV hookup. Our grandson caught his first fish. Our family was able to gather for a picnic. The swimming pool and bath house was nice. Thank you Carman for your welcome when we visited.
Very nice campground. Clean, quiet and nice amenities like the pool, stream, laundry and pull through sites. The pickleball court is not there anymore, or at least the net is gone which we were bummed about. Road a bit curvy on the way in. Watch for the stop signs. :> we'd stay again for sure.
We had an extended here and have nothing but positive things to say. The sites are spacious and the hook ups available are great. The owners are very accommodating and do a wonderful job maintaining the property. If you are looking to stay in the Chester county area definitely choose this campground over KOA or any others.
