After hitting nearly every Craft Mall in Branson, we found this place. And I am so glad we did. There were displays in this mall but I have not seen in any of the other craft malls in the area. A little out of the way, but well worth the extra effort.
The mill is a wonderful place to meander through and enjoy each item displayed! So many wonderful things to see! The vendors there are magnificent! Friendly, kind, and very informative,! They have a live TV show there, people carving wood, making mandolins and guitars, handcrafting pottery, leather products, veteran items, homemade soaps, paintings, woodworking, and so many other things! Plan to spend a couple hours here. It is a wonderful, wonderful place for anyone to come! Great parking, great people!
I enjoy a good craft place. We shopped through and there were several neat crafts, but also some junk. I did see a bundle of 1998 TV Guides for $4. It was a hodgepodge of different pieces from jewelry to woodworking and I love my favorite dog magnets. Well worth the stop, but remember all sales are final
We went here three times on our last visit to Branson. It's a fun little craft mall to walk through and it has lot of neat things. It is usually air-conditioned but sometimes they just have fans blowing.
Great place if you want to mostly buy mass produced junk. Some handmade crafts, although some are low quality for high price pottery and wood turning just off the top of my head. The description says to come see artisans doing their crafts. Saw none of that all though some of the booths were set up for it, and it was a Saturday so we didn't go mid week. As far as having craft supplies, didn't see any.
A good place to go when it is rainy and you dont feel like walking around at Silver Dollar city in the rain. Lots of neat crafts to look at... wood carving, paintings, sculpture, sewing, homemade soaps and lotions... a lot of neat stuff to look at.
I think the potential for this place is a lot greater than the reality. The name is a little misleading--while they have plenty of hand made crafts, they also have plenty of "mass produced let's see what we can get the tourists to pay for". Nothing wrong with that, of course--hooray for capitalism--but don't come in expecting everything to find every booth selling hand carved bespoke souvenirs. About half the booths are actual honest to goodness craftspeople and the other half are hoping to make a quick buck by reselling something which I think isn't what everyone expects walking in the door. And while I do expect to pay for quality, especially hand crafted quality, prices do tend to be through the roof even on the items you can buy in a dozen other stores in town or, heaven forbid, online. That said, it is fun to look around and you just might see a craftsman at work if you come at the right time. And the staff there are friendly. Just know what you're getting when you step in the door.
In a town full of craft malls and retail outlets Branson Mills stands out. There are some of the best artisans to be found here. I took my wife last week and she loved it. We found things you won't find ANYWHERE else! Big thumbs up.
If u like shopping at lots of different craft places and checking out the products people have made this a good place to go. And the prices range from low to higher, this is the place to go because u can find some unique gifts to buy.
Much larger than the building appears to be. Fun stuff. The pineapple treat is very good if you like sweet and tart.
