Came here the other day for a nice brunch with my sister-in-law plus + their friends before we went dress shopping for her wedding dress. The service here is incredible even with how busy they were. And the food? OH MY GOSH IT'S AMAZING!!!! I was pleased to find out that their portions are perfectly reasonable and fill you up. And might I add, they served me the most amazing cheese grits I've ever had in my life~ So while this a bit pricier than most, this restaurant is not a place you want to skip over when you're in Texas. P.S. The raspberry sorbet mimosa is a must if you want to spice up your brunch.
plano bread winners location. second bread winners i’ve visited, both times the food was delicious. the complimentary bread was amazing. it was moist and flavorful! croque madame was filling, flavorful, and the bread was baked to perfection. bw benedict was a simple yet delicious benedict. the hollandaise was perfect. not too thick, and full of flavor. monterrey enchiladas were so yummy and a great portion size! fresh strawberries & cream waffle was just delicious. light and fluffy on the instead while a lil crispy on the outside layers. the strawberries and whipped cream were so fresh and delicious. definitely recommend and will be returning anytime i visit the plano/dallas area. would give 4.5/5 due to the service being a little disappointing. long wait times for drinks, waiter not checking in, and drink being made with substitute ingredient and not notifying us.
Very good service...host and waitress! Food: I had the steak with grits...tasty indeed! The Brioche French Toast was good. We had the Rosé and Raspberry sorbet, the Upside Down Pineapple. and the traditional Mimosas. I liked the frozen Pineapple the most. Atmosphere: Seemed busy, was a 20 min wait for us 2 around 12pm Saturday. Most were semi-dressed up, the rest were extremely casual. Many kids and families type of environment. Kid-friendliness: Many kids Parking: Plenty of parking
Good food. Good service. We’ll make this our breakfast spot for Christmas… we ordered the Basic Breakfast w/apple sausage & pigs in a blanket. And a pineapple upside down drink which is not shown but delicious Dine in: Yes
This place is honestly mad overrated. The food was mid and I expected it to be way better based on the reviews. I just feel for the price we paid it could have been better. Also, they’re highkey scamming because they charge you to use your debit/ credit card. That is so ghetttooooo. They do give free pieces of different breads/ pastries for an appetizer and the frozen pineapple upside mimosa was really good! However, overall the pros do not out weight the cons. So it’s a no for me. I wouldn’t recommend
First time trying Bread Winners. Overall it was a good experience. Tanya the bartender was personable and took great care of me. The fruit breads were delicious! The cheese grits were outstanding! The steak and eggs were good. I should have ordered the eggs soft scrambled. Too firm for my palate. The steak was flavorful however I would have expected Akaushi Prime to be more tender than it was
There was a mix up with the server so we waited about 15 minutes to be greeted and to order. The food was not good at all unfortunately. The waffle tasted like a wafer ice cream cone with a weird film over it. The cheese grits came out cold the first time and over seasoned the second. The drinking glasses were dirty. I will say that the eggs were decent and the bread appetizer was moist. The food also came out quickly after ordering. Outside of that, we won’t be returning.
Everything was delicious and Dylan was great! The atmosphere was very beautiful and pleasant. We sat outside because the weather was nice. I will be returning! The complimentary bread is to die for they sell it by the loaf and it is so worth it !!
As a first time visitor, it felt as though I was visiting family. Ms. Dana provided a warm and friendly welcome. She was incredibly sweet and shared a little history on the decor which was fascinating and appreciated. Both the community rail from Spain and the Greenalls bar sign from Greece were a nice touch in this casual space. There’s a full bar, patio, fireplace, very clean restrooms and wheelchair accessibility. This is a great place for brunch, solo or family dining. The food was ok. The pancakes and chicken sausage were a bit dry but the homemade breads were delicious! Our server Evan was very accommodating. The service was good, the location was great, my food selection was ok. The overall experience was wonderful. FYI- there will be a 3.99% surcharge added to all non-cash transactions. Cash discounts are available
A free cake won't make up for this experience. Today I had an unsatisfactory lunch outing. I took two of my work colleagues out to lunch and we waited for almost an hour for our food to be delivered. Mostly salads and cold sandwiches made up our order. The wait staff had a general air of uncaring and no one checked in to explain the extended wait time. During one encounter we stopped the greeter and stated we hadn't got our drinks or the small plates we requested. The gentleman brought us our drinks and as he sat them down my colleague reminded him about the plate request. His response was, "I'm about to go get them, I only have two hands." I was so shocked by his rudeness. Is this how you run an establishment? Is this how you talk to your paying customers? Shabby is not even the word for the service in this place. I will acknowledge they gave us a 15% discount and free desserts, but that didn't erase the bad taste in my mouth after we received deplorable service. I won't ever go to this location again, and I say this as I'm eating the free cake I received.
