Breathe Baseball was founded in 2013 by Rockland, NY natives Mike Nassisi and Justin Ottman to spread the love for baseball. Breathe Baseball’s mission is to teach the fundamental skills and mental secrets used by the world’s elite baseball players. Coach Mike & Coach Justin created Breathe Baseball to give back to baseball and support ballplayers big league dreams. Justin and Mike live to educate players and coaches on the the tools necessary to be the best they can be in baseball and in life. Their eagerness to pass on the love of the game to as many people as they can and spark young ball players all over the world to begin their baseball journeys is why Breathe Baseball was formed.
"I can still remember walking through the tunnel and first setting my eyes on the shiny diamond at Yankee Stadium. The immaculate green grass and the flawless clay dirt stopped me in my tracks; I had never felt so alive. That vision sparked my baseball dreams and started my passion for the game. This was the moment that I started to breathe baseball."
"That first glimpse of the diamond changed my life forever. I have my dad to thank for bringing me to the game on that memorable day. He took me to many more at the stadium and I sat next to him on the couch soaking up baseball on the television. He taught me many of my firsts in baseball and will always think of him when I step foot on any diamond. My grandfather watched Babe Ruth & Lou Gehrig play, my father watched Mickey Mantle & Thurman Munson play and I watched Derek Jeter and Mariano Rivera play. I was born to breathe baseball."
