Breen's Cafe

I grew up in Worcester and it took me over 10 years to finally check this place out. Went with my brother after Thanksgiving and we met up with a bunch of friends. I think it's cash only they an ATM inside for customers to use. They offer bucket of ice filled with beers or High Noons when we went the only flavors they had of High Noons was Pineapple and Watermelon, and it was funny watching everyone reach in and see their disappointment with the lack of variety. Besides that, they've got a grill so you can get some food and we heard that Philly Cheesesteaks are the best there, sooooo we ordered a Cheesesteak on a Hot Dog. Don't make that face! It was wicked good!!!!! Not on the menu but I'd get it again!! They had several TVs with the Bruins game on and the FIFA World Cup game between USA and England. I think I have a new favorite sports bar in Worcester now!!

Heard a lot about breens so decided to try it. Its a bar with sandwiches. They were pretty good. Not overly cheesey-could use more cheese and toppings to the steak ratio. Pickles were super good!

I heard good reviews about this place so wanted to check it out DONT COME WHEN YOU ARE HUNGRY, because this place is SUPER SLOW WHY - look at the picture Space of the kitchen is only enough for 1 cooker ! ‍ Arrive Sat at 12:15 pm About 25 customers , not pack Finished ordering at the bar at 12.20 55 MINS LATER *** the food was ready Only 1 seniors woman cooking preparing plating by herself Food was ok I won’t go back if I have to wait 55 mins for 2 sandwiches

First time there. Awesome food, awesome crowd, funny bartender.

It is the classic worcester bar. Service is hit and miss but the food never disappoints. Steak and cheese being the first pick. Due to popularity I sometimes have to settle on the pastrami... almost as good as the steak go give them a try. Be warned you will have a tough time parking at busy times

Service was very slow especially since they were not crowded at all. Our food understandably took some time as they're making everything to order. I'd recommend a long as you're not pressed for time. Burgers are amazing

I went to one of the top rated places in Philly for a cheese steak and the one from Breens was even better! Everyone was very nice there too. My DIL loved the friendly burger. As an FYI you order at the bar and it is cash only.

Best hamburger I've had in a long time! Place was packed, but the service was excellent!

Me and co worker were working around the corner went here for lunch sat for 45min for two burgers finally told them we wanted it to go and finally received sandwiches with in minutes of asking for back to job site to find both burgers hardly cooked. Couldn’t leave work a second time to go ask for money back both of us threw this garbage out. Co worker had suggested this place but decided after this he would never go back. Red head bar tender can’t handle a few orders

Love it, small bar atmosphere with great food. Staff and bartender was Awesome
