This place is TERRIBLE. The lap pool is never open and when it is, there are only 2 open lanes that aren’t being used by swim team. This issue has been happening for over a year now and has gotten so much worse lately. This facility is having staffing issues with their lifeguards, which makes sense because they pay their lifeguards next to nothing. The second a lifeguard here gets a job elsewhere, they quit and leave for it. Even with these staff issues, this facility manages to be able to hire lifeguards for the times the local school’s swim team can use the pool, leaving no room for members. I QUIT
The worse place ever!! They are rude, unprofessional and are very impolite with people, when I got my membership for me and my kids they told me that there were many sports/ activities for them, as soon as I pay I asked which activities or sports my kids can get, is funny but he just said NOTHING THEY CAN GET NOTHING because the one with 4 years are too little to get in to it, the one with 10 years all sports already started, the one with 14 years we have nothing for him yet and the one with 16th is too big. I don't even know what I pay for, I asked for my refund and he said yeah you can get half of it but you have to contact to this email and explain what happened, it must to have a valid reason for you to get your half of refund back ‍‍‍.
Great place to go. Everyone is very helpful that work there. Love working out and then getting to swim in the pool after. Very refreshing.
I joined solely for their pickleball program, M-F 7-8:45 am. Love it. A good mix of skill levels and everyone gets along really well.
The YMCA is one of the highest priced fitness facilities in town and I don’t mind paying for quality service or products, but I have a serious issue paying for a facility where the service is poor. I have to call almost daily to get an update on whether or not the pool or hot tub is working because they are often down. Yesterday, I called and was told the pool was closed “until further notice” with no explanation. I was told to check back today. Well I’ve called 6 times today already and its only 11am but no one answers the phone - which is also an issue, especially on the weekends. I drive 25 minutes out of my way to go to this Y because of the pool but now I’m questioning whether or not it’s even worth the inconvenience. There are several other competitors that I believe may be a better fit with longer hours and better service. I do not recommend this location and I’m not a happy customer!!!
I love our cycling class with Matt and everyone in it. I also love our swimming pool.
Facilities are too basic. They make cancellation near impossible. Highly recommend trying other fitness clubs, even if the monthly fees are slightly higher.
Need to be more friendly at the front desk, never greeted . Sauna, mens showers Need disinfectant
The whirlpool is NEVER operational ! They need new management I have to agree with all the other negative responses - The front desk is NOT friendly, need to be replaced they are not helpful. - the pool/wet areas are only open a few hours at a time each day , the whirl pool is always broken down and the entire pool is closed on Fridays You can never call up there no one knows anything and They are closed on Sundays AND the whirlpool is always broken down I QUIT ,... terminated my membership Not worth it !
this YMCA is always crowded with a bunch of teenagers/kids. The machines are always occupied. It’s such a small space for people to work out. The classes here are very limited and the pool is always full as well. The only good thing about it is that it’s a really good family place if that’s what you’re looking for
