Absolutely the best Ribeye steak I've ever had...The appetizers, desserts and drinks are all excellent. Quality ingredients and beautiful presentations. The service was impeccable. Our entire experience was fine dining at its best. Please give Brent's a try. You'll be glad you did.Food: 5/5
Absolutely LOVE this place. It can be difficult to get into without reservations even on the off season. It is without a doubt an absolute favorite; with a new menu weekly freshness is delivered!Food: 5/5
Cool eclectic farmhouse atmosphere. Very wide ranging menu with unusual offerings. The Blueberry Hush Puppies were absolutely Devine-unlike anything we’ve ever tried-best with the honey butter imo. Enjoyed a cappuccino and tried their twist on the Monte Cristo . Well worth a visit-even to enjoy the atmosphere!
Simply delightful! For months, my boyfriend Jim and I had heard about the wonderful food and atmosphere at Brent’s Bistro. We finally had an opportunity to experience it first hand last evening. We were not disappointed! Although we have dined at amazing restaurants all over the US, we are self-described “Wilmington foodies,” who over the course of several years, have enjoyed cuisines from many local restaurants. The food, with weekly rotating menus for appetizers, entrees, and desserts, was fantastic! The hospitality was superb, as the front of the house manager, who was delightful and “worked the room,” recommended several menu items for us to try. We sat at the bar since Brent’s is so good that it’s difficult to get a reservation and the bartender was very attentive and knowledgeable of Brent’s constantly changing “chef-led “ menu. Needless to say, Brent’s is in our top 3 for both very creative and tasty menu items and excellent hospitality. Last night was our first time, but definitely not our last. Charlene & Jim
We stopped in for my wife’s birthday dinner after an impromptu day on the beach. We received great service, great food, and had a great time. I definitely recommend Brent’s for a special meal or any splurge just because!
Locals rave about this place. We wanted to see why and we were not disappointed. The staff was very intuitive and attentive; that is so rare these days. The food was perfectly prepared and very delicious! This is a small venue and has an understated decor. It is a mature crowd and the standard dress is more semi-formal than smart casual. The speed and attentiveness of the staff and service was unbelievable. The food was special enough to warrant the costs.
The food is fantastic and their service is very friendly. Nice mature atmosphere. The menu changes weekly and can be viewed on their Facebook.Food: 5/5
Came here for my dad’s birthday dinner. It was not crowded with it being a weeknight, but we did have a reservation. Our server was Bart and he was great! The only complaint I have is that the bottle of wine we ordered was very cold, like it had been in a refrigerator. We waited a while to drink it and ended up taking half a bottle home with us to drink it when it was not so cold. Overall the food was great, as a vegetarian I was satisfied with my meal. Their bread & butter is amazing as well.
The 4 times that we have eaten dinner here have always been an excellent experience. We are having our 50th wedding anniversary dinner there in October. Service and food has always been first rate.Food: 5/5
Had a fantastic dinner! Our fourth time dining here and each time it is more impressive. Fab wine list! Exquisite seared blue tuna with delicious rice with black sesame seeds and thin strips of wakame seafood. Dessert was crème brûlée two ways- one classic and the other with dark chocolate espresso! Exquisite! The service was impeccable and Ryan was a sweetheart! Love this restaurant!
