Brentwood Union Cemetery

I strongly recommend you to KEEP AWAY from that cemetery. I made a bad decision to bury my mom there in 2017. Since that I have many problems. Not only are the employees David the maintenance man and his manager Patricia Howard very rude, they also destroy and throw away your personal property. Photo #1 shows as my mom's grave looked before. Photos 2,3 and 4 show how it looks today. They throw away not only a vase valued at $150 filled with beautiful flowers another $150 but also a homemade braided cross my son made for his Grandma's memory. In photo 3 you can see an empty hole which we used as a flower's stand, it was filled with the US flag, The Cross, flowers and decorative rocks, as well as an outdoor garden light, all in great condition, was all thrown away without my consent. BUT this is not all, today 11-13-2020 I went into the office to complain about the disruptive characteristics they have shown to my moms grave. They were not cooperative at all, they told me to get out of the office, Patricia did not even wanted to listen to me, instead, they called the police on me. Can you just imagine that? Here in the USA in 21 Century? 10/10 would NOT recommend this cemetery.

Spoke with Aurora, excellent professionalism through my bad experience prior with her assistant, I would highly recommend working with her as she understands the urgency, severity, and needs of my family. After a conversation with aurora, I feel as if my family members will be well taken care of now. I was explained to very thoroughly and calmly how the process of the settling of dirt and laying of grass. Even the average time it takes within conditions to see a positive change. I will be posting pictures once the site has been revisited by myself. Thank you aurora

The staff at this cemetary is not fit to be in this line of business. I'm specifically talking about Patricia Howard. She is an awful human being. She has no empathy, compassion or patience with the grieving families that have laid their loved ones to rest there. I would highly recommend finding another cemetary if at all possible. Patricia is very dismissive and defensive. She has made threats and has been very callous and very unprofessional. The staff is unorganized and make up rules as they go. They try to limit the time that you could be there to visit your loved ones and don't respect the items left at the gravesites. So unfortunate that I have had such a negative experience with them after suffering the loss of my husband and son.

You can see the attitude of the Cemetery's team to the Lord and to their customers. The Cemetery's Management and the crew there probably thinks that if their customers are dead they will difenately not complaint. The crew "cleaned out" the vase with flowers and the Cross and left the Cross on the floor. It was their "First cleaning", sometime at September, they haven't dare to throw away my Cross yet. But they did it later, on the second "cleaning" If you respect your family you need to keep away from Union Cemetery Brentwood, CA

Excellent staff, especially their grounds crew. Always clean and well maintained with wonderful folks to assist you in your time of need.
