Right off Of 95. Bathrooms were clean. I only used my campers but I did take a look at all of them. The pool was nice. The fishing dock was a close walk from my site. There was a boat launch right next to it. Nice size dog park. The laundry room was coin feed only 2 bucks for the waster and 2 bucks for the dryer. I felt safe and would stay here again. Nearby activities: Close to the beach. There is a brewery. Movie theater not to far. Warbird museum. The enchanted forest.
This campground was awesome we had our scouts there for a week. The staff was very friendly. The bathrooms were kept clean, the amenities pool shuffle board, pickle ball very nice. The rec room is Air conditioned and has air hockey. A dock for fishing. Pavillion with picnic table. And the most gorgeous view. So sad we didn't get to see a launch while we were there
Despite the many negative reviews we had a great experience here. The campground ranger had to move us to a smaller site due to our tiny camper size 10ft teardrop. He called before-hand to let us know and ensured that we were moved to a nice, shaded site. Usually we are stuck with the sites no one else wants or can fit into, so this was a pleasant surprise. The campground itself has a large fishing pier, clean bath houses, a pool, a large dog park, & nice, shaded sites. While there are a long list of rules, they are all reasonable expectations of polite guests. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying here for a weekend getaway. Nearby activities: Close proximity to Kennedy Space Center. Perfect place for viewing rocket launches.
Have stayed here 3 times in the past with great experiences. This last visit we found the park in terrible condition. Overgrown grass and weeds, terrible sewage stench around Eagles View sites. Bathrooms were clean but no hand soap in bathroom. Love the location and dock but sad to see such a great park decline so.Service: 2/5
I have never encountered such an AWFUL experience in my life! This place advertises amenities for a pool when the pool is consistently closed due to “staffing issues” per the sign they placed on the pool gate. In addition there is a man who works there named Steve who is absolutely disrespectful and rude. We were so excited to go to this campsite with our family expecting a great experience and had anticipated many more vacations in the future to come. Sadly disappointed by the entire experience overall. Half of the amenities mentioned on their website were not available. Don’t waste your time or your money on this dump site. TERRIBLE experience!
Stayed several nights in early December 2022 before heading on a cruise. Reasonable price and booking availability. Great location on water's edge across from Kennedy Space Center and near cruise ship terminal where we parked our p/u truck hitched to our RV in the lot for two weeks at regular charge fantastic!. Sites are flat I mean, it's FL but relatively close. Hookups all worked fine. Staff are so-so friendly at best - overwhelmed at check-in with long wait times multi lane line spilling out onto roadway, broken recreation items like hockey table, over-priced and dirty laundry room with hot water not working.
The sites were spacious. No bugs when we was thereend of march. The pool was clean but did need to vacuumed. Laundry cost was a little higher than other places. Wish they would open the old boat launch area up so you have more access to the water to play in. The pier was great to fish from. All in all it was a extremely pleasant stay and will be back. Dog-friendliness: Super dog friendly
The last couple of bad reviews are a bit misleading. They were a group of loud and obnoxious guests that stayed up all night Friday partying and yelling until getting kicked out Saturday afternoon. We stay here 4 to 5 times a year and it is always a nice place to stay and see a rocket launch .
LOTS of Rules...aka Fun Facts. It has a pool and pickle ball courts, but the opened late and closed early. It has wifi, but they tell you when you check it that it won't work. Sites are small. It is right on the water, and we did enjoy watching rocket launches. It is located on a busy road, so biking was out. The grounds are pretty quiet considering it was full. They should have a camp host to help out...
Nice campground, quiet, clean facilities. This place is awesome to watch Space X launches, u can clearly watch from the back of the park across the water is Kennedy space center and also Canaveral is with in siteService: 4/5
