Brian Sweetser is a practicing massage therapist with 20 years of experience.
Brian has been a practicing massage therapist since 1998 when he graduated from Bancroft School of Massage Therapy in Worcester, MA. Since then he has worked as a massage therapist in private practice as well as 10 years in the Day Spa Industry. During that time he was the Director and Educator of Massage Services and was responsible for creating and implementing spa service protocols for a multi-year “Best of Boston” team of massage therapists.
For the past five years, Brian has been an educator at the Elizabeth Grady School of Massage therapy, instructing future massage therapists in Anatomy & Physiology as well as a variety of massage therapy techniques.
In his 20 years as a massage therapist, and many continuing education classes, he has developed his own personal style. This style is a blend of the many modalities he has been trained and certified in. These modalities include, Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, Trigger Point, Acupressure, Prenatal and Post Partum Massage, Level 1 Thai Massage, Hot Stone Massage and his specialty, Myofascial Release.
In private practice, Brian customizes each massage to the needs of the receiver utilizing all of his training; he believes that this provides deep relaxation as well as treatment-oriented work.
Brian has been voted "Best Massage Therapist" in Best of Surveys twice, once in Lexington and recently, in 2016, in Woburn.
