The staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable in the products. I ended up purchasing over 4000 lbs of block wall material and the helped me load each brick. This place is so much better than the typical home centers. The materials are superior and the prices are competitive. In short I bought materials that were substantial and didn’t look like I was decorating my yard with toy blocks. Customer service is superior to the big home centers. I have never had a home center assist me with loading over 4000 lbs of material. These guys literally “Rock”!
The best customer service ever. Our truck wouldn't take the whole load and they were closing so two of the guys brought us the rest in his own truck and helped unload it. The guys in the office were also very nice and helpful.
From the time we entered the yard people were trying to direct us to displays that might have what we were looking for. Never pushy... only helpful. Not finding what we were looking for, we moved inside. It was there that Lorenzo bent over backwards trying to help us find patterns that we were looking for. After making our selection, he worked diligently to get enough product transfered in to meet our need. When I asked about discounts, he said we could have the contractor's price. But, he took it a step further by asking us if we got the local monthly Vacaville magazine. He said we could have better pricing if we had the 15% discount coupon that was located in the back. He had our order in the yard by 2:00 pm the next day. Service was top notch and we could not have asked for more.
I love the friendly and helpful people who work there and the beautiful flagstone they sell. Calling to find out how much of something is in stock is not effective. Twice I came out after hearing the computer showed 9,000 pounds of a product in stock only to drive there and find there was actually none for sale.
Nice area. Helpful staff and knowledgeable. Showroom is nicely designed and they have plenty of literature to take and get ideas from. Several outside designs show what can be done with pavers and stone. As a side note, they do not sell rock aggregate, just big stones for the yard.
I recently visited the Brickyard in search of stone for a fireplace project. I was greeted with a silent stare by both employees at the counter. I initiated the conversation about my project and the lady behind the counter acted as though I was inconveniencing her with my business. I asked a simple question and was met with the most condescending looks I have ever received from a consumer's side of the counter. I barely made it through the rest of the estimate without giving her a piece of my mind. Customer service should be #1. I work in retail and it's simple: A kind greeting and a smile goes a long way. Clerk "JTURNER" shouldn't be treating patrons this way. I liked the Brickyard's material and pricing and was ready to move forward. However, due to this lady's poor attitude and lack of common decency, I took my business elsewhere and will not be going back.
High quality materials and friendly informative staff. They have all the materials that you would need to do ANY type of hardscaping for the yard. There is also a large garden-like demo area to the north of the show room paved with their stock. The area is designed in a way to display the product as close as possible to the final layout. The staff is also willing to help you figure out what and how much stock that you will need to finish your project, when you give them the dimensions of course. They also know exactly what their products will look like and are willing to give out samples! When you get your supplies delivered they also take the time to check out their palates of materials and will sort out the obvious rubbish pieces. I haven't been there recently, but they said that there were going to revitalize their stock of water feature supply material. +++++ The project I was working on was a 420 sqft concrete paver patio which I put in about 2 years ago. Still looks great.
Very accomodating. We thought they closed at 5:00 pm and arrived a few minutes before 4:00 pm, which was closing time. They were very nice and stayed until around 4:30 to help us get what we needed.
I went here on a Friday and look around. And the lady actually ask and shown me around they have a good selection compare the one in vallejo and their price is more competitive than my area local paver. The lady was not very informative but she recommended I go to their one of the class mostly Saturdays their all my questions are unsweredand Aswell as they showed how to do paving and the vendor was very informative on what work or not. I got all my materials and was very happy with the purchased I will update photo on my project
