When we first went to this store to pick out our bridesmaid dresses, we were excited to find the exact shade and style of dress we wanted. However, when we finally ordered our dresses and booked an appointment to pick them up, we were incredibly shocked by the lack of professionalism demonstrated by the workers and manager there. The refused to let us try on the dresses we were purchasing because they apparently do not take appointments on weekends to which I was never told on the phone when I called to book an appointment. The manager rudely told us to leave the store and come back later, after which he will see whether or not he can squeeze us in. We were so upset by his attitude; he was yelling at my mom and I to leave, even though we had an appointment. When we returned, he finally allowed us to try on the dresses. They came 2-3 sizes larger than they should have been. When we asked how they've taken these measurements because they were completely off, they told us that all dresses must be altered anyways. They refused to offer us a discounted price for alterations, seeing as it was their mistake. Overall, the manager and employees working at Bridesmaid Bliss treated us so poorly; their tone was incredibly rude. I could not believe the manager's attitude, he was yelling at all of us. Had I read the previous reviews about this store, I would not have purchased our dresses from here.
I had the pleasure of going to Bridesmaid Bliss 3 years ago when I was a bridesmaid for my brothers wedding. This year was my wedding and I went back to Bridesmaid Bliss to pick out the bridesmaid dresses I wanted for my ladies. I have a bridal party of 10 ladies so it wasn't easy coordinating schedules and seeing what styles suit certain body types. Sabrina was honestly the biggest help. She was so easy going when I came up with issues throughout the year of planning my wedding. She was so prompt with letting me and the girls know dresses were in and she was so good with connecting with me when necessary. The dresses were beautiful. We worked together on colours and styles and everyone always made sure I was happy! Not only did she help with the bridesmaid dresses... but I had so many events throughout the year! I told Sabrina what I was looking For in a dress and she went out of her way to search styles and designers that fit my specific expectations. She would contact me when she got a dress or found one that fit what I was looking for. I'm very thankful for all her help! They are fair and super accommodating! I want to say that this is the worst bridesmaid dress shopping experience I have ever had, but that seriously wouldn't be given them the credit they deserve. This was literally the worst shopping, no, customer service experience of my entire life! If you're thinking of shopping here, don't. I can guarantee that you can literally go to any other shop on this earth and get way better treatment. It's not like their dresses are exclusive to their store and in my experience, you can find the same designer/dress for a better price elsewhere. For starters, the shop owner and all of his employees that I've come across at least are incredibly rude, cocky, and all-around awful. They make you feel like a number/cattle when you come in. Are incredibly rude to you, even if you have an appointment, and have you essentially change in a closet that would even disappoint Harry Potter to change your dress - OH! And did I forget to mention that they have no problem walking up to your dressing room and ripping open the curtain to talk to you/expose you to the whole shop?` The shop owners method of sizing you is putting on a dress 8 sizes to big, grabbing handfuls of it in front of a mirror for it to fit around your body, and then 'eyeball/guess' what your size is. When we questioned his technique we were met with a snappy/condescending response about how he's a professional and knows what he's doing. Well, every other bridesmaid listened to him except for me. I went online, found the measurements of the different sizes, then sized myself and said what I wanted. He snapped at me and disagreed with my decision, but I didn't care. Well, surprise surprise, but every other bridesmaid's dress DID NOT FIT. No, the issue wasn't that they were too big, they were too small! For some of them that meant losing a couple pounds, for others, it took drastic measures. When the bride approached the owner he first refused to speak to her because it was 'confidential information', but when the bridesmaids spoke to him he refused to do anything and said it was our problem. Okay....so the bridesmaids were too scared to stand up to you and do your damn job for you when you sized us so now we're the ones that are out a bunch of money with a dress that is too small? Not even to mention the fact that our dresses came in incredibly late, so even if we needed to get them replaced or go buy a whole new dress elsewhere, we wouldn't be able because they only left us a short time frame before the wedding to get alternations/starve ourselves to try to fit in these dresses. I can't even put into words the disgust and general disappointment that I have with this shop. The pure fact that they're still in business is severely concerning and demonstrates everything that is completely wrong and all around abusive in the wedding world. Don't let people like this bully you and paint you into a corner thinking that you have to give them your business. Sharing my experience because I wish I read the bad reviews before I went. Incredibly unprofessional, rude, and undeserving of anyone's business.
After reading all the poor reviews on Bridesmaids Bliss I thought I'd still give it a try because I do know that people tend to write reviews only when they've had a bad experience. The saleswoman was very rude to our whole bridal party. I did like a few of the dresses, even though all they only have one size of each dress to try on but will not give this place my business due to the poor customer service we received. **Edit** owner contacted me to bribe me to take down my review saying I would get %15 off next purchase if I took my negative review down.
One star is more than they deserve. I came in unsure of what I was looking for and was relying on them to help me pick a dress that would look good on me. When it came, I was incredibly unhappy with the fit. Sabrina, the sales assistant, flat out told me I shouldn't have picked a dress that didn't work with my body. I was relying on her to help me pick one that work, so I'm not sure why she would tell me that the one she recommended didn't work with my body. She then told me I could go to their other location and see whether the seamstress could make suggestions. I had already paid a $200 deposit and wanted to make sure the seamstress would be able to alter it to fit me before I paid the other $200, but they said that was not an option. Either take it as is and hope for the best or walk away from $200. If you're looking for a dress that fits well and suits your body, Sabrina cannot help you. If you're thinking that bridesmaid dress shopping should be even a mildly enjoyable experience and that the employees should do their best to make sure you're happy and feel good about your dress, Bridesmaids Bliss is not the shop for you.
I honestly had the best experience at Bridesmaids Bliss! As a bride looking for bridesmaids dresses, this store made it so easy for me! I went to so many stores and looked at so many dresses but when i came to Bridesmaids Bliss the service i recieved was amazing! I was looking for Mint bridesmaids dresses, so when my girls tried on a navy mori lee lace dress i knew it was the one. The girls showed me the material of the dress and all the different colours that it came in. I chose the mint colour not knowing how it would look with all lace and with that dress. The girls even went as far as to finding a previous client who ordered the same dress so my mind would be at peace that the dresses would look good. Once the dresses arrived, to say i was speechless was a understatement. The dresses exceeded my expectations. The colour, style were perfect. On my wedding day and after my wedding, my family and friends could not stop talking about the dresses. Everyone was in love! I would 100% recommend Bridesmaids Bliss to anyone looking for prom or bridesmaids dresses.
I ordered a bridesmaid dress in December 2015 for a wedding in June 2016. At the time I thought I may be pregnant so the girl that assisted me worked with me on ordering a size bigger-just in case I was pregnant. Well I am not pregnant and I am 3 sizes smaller now. I picked up the dress the other day and I took it to have the dress estimated for alterations and I was quoted $200! not at Bridesmaids Bliss. I was so upset and called the store to see if there was anything that could be done. I spoke with JP and he was so nice and offered to exchange the dress with the sample that just came in because it was in mint condition. I went immediately to the store and exchanged it…which thankfully was the size I am now. The customer service experience I received was amazing…no questions asked and he was so accommodating. Honestly, if JP wasn’t so great about this situation, I don’t know what I would have done…I guess I would have paid $200 in alterations…eek! Anyway…great customer service and would definitely purchase from this store again….go see JP he is soooo nice!!!
After countless stores, and absolutely terrible service, we finally found Bridal Bliss! It was a dream come true! From the moment we walked into the store for our appointment everything went smooth and it was finally enjoyable! Fantastic customer service, fantastic dresses for my Bridesmaids and I adored both the owners. I would recommend them to everyone.
Terrible service. Do not buy from here. We ordered three bridesmaid dresses, and paid extra for shipping so that it could come in a couple weeks before the wedding. The dresses came in 6 days before the wedding. The girls working there said that they didn't know where the dress even is. They only called the company once to see where the dresses were, they did not make this a priority. They did not give us the money back that we gave to them for extra shipping, even though the dresses came in VERY late. If we had gotten the normal shipping, the dress would have came in at the same time, if not earlier. She was not going to give us the dresses if we didn't pay for the extra shipping. When we were first trying the dresses on the lady said that alterations was $50. When we got the dresses, we were told that only altering one thing to the dress was $50, and the rest would cost more money. I was so surprised at how they run there business. I would never ever go back there to by a dress.. expecially for any bridesmaid/mother of the bride dress that you need for a specific time!
I finally found the perfect prom dress at Bridesmaids Bliss, that I hadn't seen anywhere else. The staff was always pleasant and helpful. My dress even came in a month and half earlier than expected. Thank you to the staff at Bridesmaid Bliss for making prom dress shopping a great experience!
