JUNE 5, 2016 Run Bike Run Duathlon
Start your race under a canopy of 100 year old oak trees along the historic Huey P. Long Avenue, pass the turn of the century St. Josephs church complex before transitioning onto your bike under the cover of the Gretna Farmer's Market. From the market head out along river road making your way to the Crescent City Connection bridge where you climb to a panoramic view of the New Orleans French Quarter, the Louisiana Superdome and the central business district of New Orleans. U-turn and enjoy the view again as you return to transition. Start your final leg along the top of the levee of the mighty Mississippi River as you run out and back with a view of downtown New Orleans and the bridge you just conquered.
