Bridgewater State University Irish Studies Program and Minor
The Irish Studies Minor offers students the opportunity to learn about Irish literature, history and culture through an interdisciplinary and multi-disciplinary course of study.
Many students, especially those with Irish heritage and background, show deep interest in Irish culture. This new minor in Irish studies opens the study of Ireland and Irish culture to a broader interdisciplinary lens and will include a variety of courses from different departments.
Students will take a minimum of six lower and upper-division courses (18 credits) from an array of disciplinary perspectives, including literature, history, dance, anthropology, sociology, music, and geology.
