Home of the church-sponsored Mormon co-op that dominated the local economy from 1864 through 1895. It was built in a Romanesque, or Victorian Eclectic Commercial style, in 1890. The co-op was the model for others across Utah, but none were nearly as successful. After a fire in late 1894, the building housed a bank. A large room on the third floor held dances and other events.
