Lovely people at the desk. Everything else is horrible. Owned by private equity--two months without a hygienist. The orthodontist works one day a week, and complains constantly. The regular dentist just runs around totally overworked. Billing is awful. They never bill correctly and they're months behind in receivables. Found a different dentist after two years of problems.
Bad experience. Stay away! Would give 0 stars if that was an option. Visited this office to get a bridge. I paid the balance of what the insurance wouldn't cover. I signed paperwork at the office that said I was paid in full after paying the amount they specified. They made no effort to get in touch with me once they had their money. The office didn't care enough to call, email or text when the bridge was ready, even though they had all the contact information. Never heard from them again until they wanted more money. The corporate office started calling my phone and my wife's phone multiple times a week saying that I owed them more money even though they hadn't even finished the work. This office is money driven not patient oriented. I would never use this dental practice again or refer anyone to it. My advice - go anywhere else.
Go somewhere else - not interested in patient care - just money. Dishonest. I had an appointment here and brought very recent x-rays from another practice. The doctor spent ONE MINUTE looking at my x-rays and said I needed to go elsewhere to see a specialist. She never even checked inside my mouth but submitted a claim to my insurance company for a COMPLETE oral examination and a FULL set of x-rays - none of which happened. I was shocked - very dishonest.
After I showed up for my appointment, I was told that though they accepted my dental coverage with Physicians Mutual, they were not familiar with my plan. They then suggested that I go elsewhere! Needless to say, I was shocked and upset.
Never go here! During my cleaning the guy ended up ripping off my filling and said it would have come off eventually. After 6 months of waiting to get a filling back on it fell off 4 months later!!!!! Waste of money. Never going back and will never recommend to anyone. Same thing happened with my friends crown. It fell off 3 times in a 8 day period and finally she went some where else to get quality work. Don’t waste your money going here.
Was trying to give this place the benefit of the doubt but sadly disappointed. I was confirmed for my appointment a month ago the night before by several text messages and calls/VM alike. When I showed up for my appointment , front desk girls told me the texted me this morning to cancel because of no hygienist. I never got a text or a call. I’m in health care and realize the gravity of being short handed so I decided to just let it go. Today I’m back for my rescheduled appointment left work an hour early and after three consecutive days of calls and texts confining I was glad I was gonna be seen. 45 minutes into my appointment I’m over hearing the girls talk in Spanish , yes ofc I understand but what bothered me is the lack of communication. Twice. Had the lady just said hey we just need to run your insurance and waiting on that I would have known why I was still sitting 40 min later. Thank god for the hygienist Robin who was just a temp but she certainly smoothed it over. Anyways, work on the communication. I don’t typically write reviews but in this case it’s well deserved.
Made appointments for my daughters a month prior. I get a call the day before the appointment advising me that there will be no cleanings due to no hygienist available. I specifically asked for teeth cleanings. Who calls the day before to advise you that the services you asked for isn’t available? The staff was very rude when I asked about this. Never again!
Please read before paying! I went to the Largo Mall Bright Now and was told I needed six teeth pulled, including wisdom teeth. They asked for my insurance card and told me to come back in three weeks. When I returned they said they had my claim approved and that I would owe $950 for $2400 in services, appx. It took four hours to pull the teeth, during which the surgeon was swearing and taking breaks to see other patients. I got through it, paid my bill in full and left. Five months later they started calling me saying I owe them $800. I told them we both signed paperwork that said I was paid in full, how can you call after all this time and claim I owe more? Because the insurance didn't cover all of their part. So after they had three weeks to get it approved, told me it was covered and got their payment, somehow I owe them. I was told that the time frame doesn't matter, the paper I signed doesn't matter, it doesn't matter that they told me it was covered. And it definitely doesn't matter that I'm a single waitress with two kids and could only afford to get my teeth fixed because of my tax return. I had my teeth pulled in May, it is now December, three weeks before Christmas and they call me everyday.
Bright Now Dental group is a nice and caring dental group. When my crown fell off right before Thanksgiving they got me in the office and cemented it back on in time for the holiday. Recently my husband lost his bottom denture. They got him in right away and started the process to replace it..
My entire process here was smooth. I loved the front office and Dr. Park is the best. I am so happy I found her.
