Brindlee Mountain Middle holds the following beliefs:

• Students will do the best they can and be respectful when they respect themselves and see that the other stakeholders respect and care about them.
• Students are shaped by their home, school, and community environments.
• Students require other stakeholders to teach and model the attitudes, actions, and behaviors expected.
• Students benefit from effective communication between home, school, and community that is honest and respectful.
• Students feel that education is more relevant to their lives when collaboration takes place between stakeholders.
• Students develop respect, resourcefulness, and responsibility when stakeholders commitment to continuous improvement in the cultivation of and respect for the lifelong learning process.
GOALS
Brindlee Mountain Middle school is working to attain the following goals:
• Expose students to a challenging, state-mandated curriculum for academic success.
• Provide students with a variety of experiences to foster the sense of leadership, service, respect, resourcefulness, and responsibility needed to become productive citizens.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and community members to cooperatively provide the best education for each student.
• Obtain the knowledge and technology to successfully provide a 21st century learning environment.
• Use strategic, differentiated instructional practices in all areas to meet the needs of each unique learner.
The vision of Brindlee Mountain Middle School is to enable 21st century learners to become respectful, resourceful and responsible citizens by providing a challenging, state-mandated curriculum with a variety of experiences to develop a sense of leadership, worthiness, belonging, and accomplishment.
