About our Designer, Sigal Benabou:
Born and raised in Israel, Sigal Benabou seemed destined to be a fashion designer. It didn’t hurt that when she immigrated to California at the age of 13 where her family was in the garment industry, she began working with textiles. She began creating her own patterns and designs in high school, and found fashion design to be a natural fit with her lifelong pursuit of artistic outlets. Since 2007 Sigal has been creating couture swimwear. Due to an overwhelmingly positive response, she then expanded her line to include dresses and gowns. The line was immediately featured in the exclusive gift shop at the Peninsula Beverly Hills. That first year she also saw her goal of designing for Paris Hilton come true. Named after her daughter, Sigal’s Briquelle of Beverly Hills label was launched in the spring of 2011 with swimwear trunk shows at Mandalay Bay and Aria in Las Vegas. The luxurious stretch fabric featured in the collection is perfect for the patented one of a kind reversible-print interchangeable swimsuits and the 5-in-1 garments that transform to an elegant strapless dress, skirt, and gown. The designs offer superior craftsmanship and detailed embellishments, appealing to a sophisticated and fashion forward clientele.
