Miriam did a great job. I have very dark hair, but I wanted some purple highlights. We had a consultation and she tested my hair by bleaching a tiny portion to ensure the color would take. Then, we scheduled the real appointment a week later. It came out better than I expected! She also covered up some grays with my natural color at the same time.Service: Balayage

Miriam Garner was FANTASTIC! I was in search of a new stylist after the girl I had been going to for ten years decided to step away to spend more time with family. I was so nervous because I can’t remember having anyone else ever do my hair. Miriam listened so intently to what I wanted done, and honestly I’m not that great at describing since I was so used to having someone just know me! But Miriam was better than I could have ever asked for. You can tell she has so much experience knowing what her client is looking for by asking the right questions. She was patient, kind, and so personable! She even recommended products to help with the coarseness of my grey hair. The recommendations were spot on and she was never pushy in a salesman way, I could tell her recommendations came from a place of passion for helping others and her work. I will never go anywhere else for my hair again! She is an absolute dream to work with and I can’t recommend her enough!!Service: Haircut
I had a red balayage service with Miriam and she was AMAZING. Had tried with 8 hairstylist before and I was never able to get what I wanted done on my hair. Was so nervous since I had a bad experience with another hairstylist when I wanted to get may hair red but with Miriam was a really good experience. She gave me ideas, showed me shades of colors, she did an amazing layer cut on my hair. Is just like she picked my brain and did exactly what I wanted to get done. Always have a great experience at Bristles! I have worked with multiple stylists over the years but hands down my new favorite is one of the new to Bristles stylists, Miriam! She did an incredible job transforming my faded purple/pink hair into a beautiful northern lights, mermaid-esque, blue to teal ombré. Absolutely gorgeous and my color is still super vibrant and it’s been a month since getting it done! Can’t wait to go back to see Miriam for my next fun colorful hair journey!!!Services: Haircut

Miriam cleaned up my hair after over a year of growth. Between COVID and a new baby my self care got pushed to the back burner. I could not be happier! I was able to book a timely appointment that fit my baby’s and my husband’s schedules without waiting weeks or months. And, my hair looks fab to boot! I loved Miriam so much I scheduled an appointment for my daughter 5 years old a week or 2 later. She is so so nice!
