Nice baseball park, very nice setting. Gave it a two because the porta-potties restrooms were out of sanitizer and toilet tissue on the first day of our tournament and absolutely unusable on the second day, from the start. All 7 or 8 were overflowing. Not a good situation with all the people. Restrooms: Porta-potties are the only facilities. Used to it with baseball tournaments but these were not maintained. Picnic area: Nice picnic areas. Plenty of room to spread out.
Be aware it can be very windy and feel much colder than expected due to the flat terrain! We tend to forget!
Lots of space to run, walk, or even fly a kite. Usually very clean. Playground equipment is in good condition. Playground is fenced. Baseball diamonds you can use when there are no games scheduled. A nice picnic pavilion with available grill. If you're into history, check out the replica canal boat. Dogs are welcome. Lots of parking. Two things that could be improved - more shade at the playground and real bathrooms.
My favorite park to take my daughter. Rarely very busy, plenty to do, safe, and usually clean. Last time I went there was a lot of trash scattered and the trash can was full, so that is a negative, but maybe the grounds crew just haven't been there that day yet. I hope it doesn't get overrun or let go.

Waverly's go-to for the family sports place. No shade but with all the activities going on that's no big deal. Great place for baseball, softball, soccer and to let the kids play on the playground.

Need lights on at least one field. We are gonna have to finish your game another night because it got too dark to play & we were only at the top of the 4th. Nice place to play though.
Car cruise going on , very cute park with a small playground,picnic shelter, bbq grills & boat ramp. Very busy on the weekends. $4 to park and dock for boats.
Love going for cook outs. Wish they had more and bigger grills. Afterwards we play softball as a family!!
