Broken Bow Health and Rehab is a skilled nursing and long term care "Community." Broken Bow Health and Rehab is transitioning from an "institutionalized facility" to a more homelike environment by implementing culture change within the building and the practices of the organization.
Broken Bow Health and Rehab is a member of the National Association of Health Care Assistance. NAHCA is a non-profit organization, that is made up primarily of Certified Nursing Assistance. NAHCA'S mission is to elevate the professional standing and performance of certified nurses assistance (CNA), through recognition, motivation, education and development; building alliance with health care providers, reducing costs, and improving the care of our frail and elderly. As a non-profit organization, nationwide, individual associations create their own monetary budget through donations and the hard work of their members in fundraisers. Available funds are used in a variety of ways that can assist CNA's and to benefit other projects for recognition and motivation of CNA"S.
NAHCA members volunteer their time to show their profession, while promoting teamwork among caregivers and represent the center in a positive way to the community.
