It was great I loved the little bridge made of rocks and the the ducks there. Also you could feed the ducks but we didn't bring anything when we went I highly recommend you do. Either way, careful of the rocks and sticks, especially when barefoot. Another thing, the water is clear and clean but keep in mind that the water is cold. They also have a grass area where you can have picnics, so overall, you should visit!
This place is beautiful, however it does have a playground for kids as well as body wash area other than washrooms. Parking is also limited but during week days, you will find enough. Overall, a nice place to visit Playground: No playground Restrooms: Washrooms are available Picnic area: Nice picnic area available
Fun place to go. The first time I went there I got a parking ticket because I inadvertently parked in a private lot that needs a permit, right by the beach. I don’t recall seeing any signage so beware. There is free parking across the street. The beach is beautiful, the water is cold and the bottom is muddy though. Not good for swimming. My kids really enjoyed skipping stones and splashing in the water. I got great photos.
Its clean and a fun place to hangout with family and friends. Its even a great place to have your dog for walk.
So nice and quiet with a sandy beach and charming environment
Bronte beach is next to the Bronte Bluffs Park. Many yachts are anchored on land at the end of the season. There is a quiet atmosphere. Only ducks are wandering around the parking lot under the warm sunlight.
It is a place for all age groups. There are children's playgrounds, huge parks, beach, rocky shore, etc. There is a very cool ice cream restaurant called duckie. The park is huge. We can rest on shore in bikini. The only issue - very bad water. Water is too much polluted and there is heavy amount of algae, etc. The bed in water is too rocky and sharp pebbles are there so one can't be in water for long. Kayaking etc is allowed. There is harbour too.
Tiny little pocket beach. Great spot to get sand between your toes, enjoy the view and the wildlife. Restrooms: Are a short walk from the beach Dog-friendliness: There seem to be no dog restrictions But it is a public beach so we kept our puppy leashed. Picnic area: There are picnic tables scattered around the grassy area.
Interesting place to visit! You will witness many different types of people in their behavior, beliefs, habits and so on. Mostly visited by families in groups. However, you will find some lonely ones too. Lake water is mostly very cold for swimming. Nice place with contours and big trees to visit once in a while. It's a beach as well as a park.
Nice place : There is parking next to the beach, but make sure to park on the spots designated for public parking, other spots might get you ticket. Can be a bit crowded on the weekends afternoon. Shallow water, might not be best suited to swimming..saw a lot of people with kayaks..if you walk towards the harbor side you can find deeper water suitable for a dip !
