Our historic 2.5 acre campus is located six miles north of Danbury, Connecticut, on the banks of the Still River, with a vintage Mill Building as its centerpiece. Our six vintage buildings house seven fully-equipped studios, an exhibition gallery, and a seasonal retail craft gallery.
Brookfield Craft Center is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, founded in 1954 “to teach and preserve the skills of fine craftsmanship and enable creativity and personal growth through craft education.” We strive to support creativity, fine design and quality craftsmanship without regard to race, gender or religious affiliation.
Craft education: classes, workshops and private tutorials year-round. The Craft Center's seasonal gift shop supports our education programs, and offers fine craft objects in all mediums by artists from the region and around the country.
