The Brookfield Police Department is the full-time law enforcement agency charged with the protection of life and property and the enforcement of local, state and federal laws within the Town of Brookfield, Connecticut. Thirty four full-time police officers and ten civilians serve a growing population of more than 17,000 residents and a thriving commercial district situated between scenic Lakes Candlewood and Lillinonah in western Connecticut.
The Mission of the Brookfield Police Department is to provide our community with the finest public safety services in an ethical, professional and sensitive manner. We do this by preserving the peace, promoting safety, protecting property and respecting the Constitutional Rights of all people. We are committed to maintaining an open dialogue and positive interaction with our fellow citizens in order to develop a partnership that will solve problems and enhance the quality of life for all Brookfield residents and visitors.
