The Brookhaven Town Volunteer Firefighters Museum was founded as a non-profit educational facility and museum whose purpose is to enhance the public's knowledge of the history of volunteer firefighting by preserving artifacts of Firefighting.
The Brookhaven Town Volunteer Firefighters Museum was founded as a non-profit educational facility and museum whose purpose is to enhance the public's knowledge of the history of volunteer firefighting by preserving the artifacts from individuals and surrounding fire departments. The mission is to exhibit examples of the history and heritage of firefighting, preserve unique examples of apparatus, to showcase the supporting fire associations and to provide a memorial to all who have answered their last alarm.
