Brooklea Bakery and Cafe'

Well, I wish I could talk about the food but I can only talk about the service. I ordered a custom birthday cake to be picked up on Sunday at 10am. Drove 30 minutes to sit in the parking lot for another 30 minutes waiting for someone to come and open the bakery and no one ever did. I left a message and no one returned my call. Eventually I got hold of the manager who had to go out of town for a funeral. He said they were supposed to call me to pick it up on Saturday instead but no call was ever made. Unfortunately, that level of mishap cost them a customer.

Friendly staff, and great food. I go here often because I work and live in the area. Literally never had a bad service experience or bad meal here. I've also ordered desserts from here and have gotten rave reviews from everyone who has tried them. Would definitely recommend for lunch or baked goods.
