In and out, just stopped in for a scratch ticket & quick browse. Didn't feel like my shoulder was being looked over. I'll go back again but boy has the area changed a lot over the years!
Wonderful place with so many choices for all sorts of wine, sake, beer, and soft drinks. At a totally reasonable price. Helpful friendly staff. Loved it!
Nice little place with lots of variety on offer; I'm so glad to be not overwhelmed by hundreds of different labels, like you see in bigger stores. Friendly and well-versed staff. Prices are on par with most other places I shop at.
What can I say about a business that is supposed to give $1.28 in change and only gives $1.25, assuming that the three cents are insignificant enough to keep from the customer? To add insult to injury, when I called them out on it, I was given just two cents. I went back to the counter and they shrugged their shoulders, telling me they only had two cents in the till. It's not so much the amount of money, but the cavalier disrespect given to the customer. Shame on this business for their poor attitude.
Great staff. Friendly people.
The staff are very friendly and helpful, and they even gave me a free glass when I visited. Prices are reasonable and they had a lot of great local New England beers. The only real drawback is that their selection of singles is pretty limited. Fortunately, the singles they do have are broadly different in terms of price
This mart is tip-top. Reasonable prices, great selection. And I know- Planet Fitness pioneered this term- but this place is truly a "judgement free zone." When I go into Brookline wine & spirit, I buy embarrassing products sometimes like 40 oz malt liquors and cheap sake, but the employees never utter a word. They are simply happy to have my business and I am happy to give it to them! The ideal exchange
Awesome selection of limited batches of beer and wine and spirits. Great whiskey options and the prices are competetive!! The management and how this shop is organized is Top Notch
They do not have an updated website. Don’t waste a trip to their store looking for Yellowstone bourbon . All gone.
If you are in your 20s they might snap your ID. Every other time I have come here they have about bent my ID in half. I'm not even close to the legal drinking age and have never had anyone bend my ID anywhere else in Boston.
