Brookline Lodge of Elks 886

I lived at that address in the 1940s. I haven't been back to Brookline since 1958, and. 40 Kent Street was a dancing school then. When I lived there during WWII, the house had been divided up into two residences. My family lived in one part and the other part had others in it. I don't remember them, as I was barely 3years old when we moved down around the corner to 2 Harvard Square. That was in 1942. I often think about the 2 places I lived in Brookline. I wish I could return someday, but I am getting up in age,and cannot travel,so it is not possible to do so . I hope you enjoy being at 40 Kent Street. I have many happy memories of living there despite the war going on. My dad was in the navy then and we got to see him when he was in port .
