The SUNY – Educational Opportunity Centers (EOCs) serve eligible adult and young adult learners throughout the State of New York.
The State University of New York Brooklyn Educational Opportunity Center (SUNY-BEOC) is a higher education institution that has provided academic and career training programs to eligible New Yorker’s since 1966. Supported by both, the University Center for Academic and Workforce Development (SUNY-UCAWD) and New York City College of Technology (CUNY-NYCCT), BEOC offers tuition free training to adult and young adult learners of New York to enhance their marketable skills and, thus, increase their chances for employability.
Free Education: GED, English as a Second Language (Intermediate and Advanced level. Career Programs*: Medical Billing & Coding, Medical Assisting, Medical E-Record & Office Administration (NEW), and Hospitality Management Operations.
* Applicants must have HS Diploma. College Graduates or College Students in good standing are not elegible to enroll in these Programs.
