The most delicious Bagels in Lake Mary!!! I pass a couple bagel shops to come here for my breakfast Bagel Sandwiches. It is so cool to see the display where you walk in showing the Brooklyn water used in making their Bagels. You have to check this place out for your Brooklyn Breakfast!!!
Ordered a rueben, got a corned beef hash, wait time after order was approximately 10 minutes around 9am. Regardless, the sandwich was good! Will return.
This empty thing was 8.00. Ordered a ham and pepper jack cheese with garlic and jalapenos. Tons O' bagel....where is my ham!!!! 1/2 lb my Donkey. Not getting my money any more.
This was my first time here. Being originally from Jersey, I know bagels. I had everything bagel which was absolutely perfect. I did order the jersey boy which was supposed to be Taylor, ham, egg and cheese. Being from New Jersey, I knew right away, that they used generic ham for their sandwich. Taylor him egg and cheese is specific to the New Jersey area and it requires a special ham in a white cloth wrapper. Any other ham is considered ham, egg and cheese on a bagel. Was I disappointed? Actually, I was. I really thought that a place from up north would know what a real Taylor him, egg and cheese was. Additionally, The eggs appeared to be microwaved. However, I will be back for some amazing bagels and to try some other dishes!! The bagels are amazing and after all that's what this place is!
I got the Williamsburg on a Black Russian with Seeds and my wife got the Greenpoint on a Whole Wheat Everything. Both were delicious.
Brooklyn Water Bagel is by far the closest thing to real NY bagels - crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. These bagels are so good, I drive from Jacksonville to this location for several dozen at a time. The only negative I would add, is they no longer provide the XL ziploc freezer bags. Add a few pennies to the price of a dozen and bring the bags back.
My first time at a Brooklyn Water Bagel and I wasn't impressed. I was excited for corned beef hash on a fresh bagel, but was sad to open my wrapper and see plain corned beef and an undercooked hashbrown with almost a 2inch thick egg layer and cheese. Definitely should not be called a corned beef hash sandwich. The flavors were bland and less than desirable. On the bright side, the sandwich was large and hot took it togo and very reasonably priced.
Bagel Snob incoming - the Bagel itself was pretty good, definitely better than a majority of Florida bagels. The sandwich was awful, and pretty much completely incorrect. You aren't serving Taylor Ham, do not say you are. I received two slices of ham, which to anyone who has eaten real Taylor Ham knows that they aren't close to the same. Additionally, the eggs were puffy McDonald's type eggs that were wet and gross. Not eggs typically served with any real NY egg sandwiches. I would stick with just bagels if I ate here again, the sandwich was a complete miss.
Food and coffee is great! It's a good hangout spot and your one stop shop for morning goodies before going to work or getting on with the start of your day. Pretty cozy and homey. Only thing that was a bummer is it closes so soon in the day, but nonetheless, a fantastic place for food.
We eat here often and have never had a bad experience. The staff is super friendly and the bagels are as close to a New York Bagel that you can get in Florida. My wife is from Long Island and will not eat a bagel from anyplace else.
