Brookwood Cafe and Catering

Double bypass country soul food. A small but quant restaurant, that serves good food at a descent price. The fried chicken was crispy and delicious. The double cheeseburger was huge and came loaded with slaw and chili. Ample seating and handicap accessible.

Will not come back here. Came in at 9 for breakfast with my wife. Was not even acknowledged. Waitresses all around us talking about personal stuff. Never once did anyone even speak to us. This is mot the first time. We got up and left. It’s a good ol boys club. If your not a regular don’t even bother coming here.Food: 1/5

The Country style steak and gravy, and mash potatoes was very good. I had green beans maybe 1/4 cup fried okra cold and hard biscuit,ok and water. I was shocked when the price was .7cent shy of $17.00Food: 3/5

This will be the last time that I go to Brookwood. Last week I ordered a hamburger steak dinner with coleslaw did not receive my coleslaw. So I reached out and spoke with a female, and she mentioned just to let them know and they will owe me a side order of coleslaw. I called today cause they were having stew beef, and mentioned my coleslaw that was owed to me when I spoke to the manager, she stated, well will let you have it this time!! You’re not giving me anything. I paid for it last time and did not receive it. She act like she was doing me a favor. I get home the stew beef taste old. Not sure why everybody likes his place over priced and you don’t get enough food. This will be the last time that I ever Order from Brookwood again!!

If you aren't friends with the staff you will not receive good service. I have tried & tried to give this place a chance, because it's a small town & options are few. This morning was the final straw. We sat down for breakfast & we counted 4 servers, all wandering around having personal conversations. I heard all about a server's 8th grade Outer Banks trip, we sat for about 6 mins, were never acknowledged. When a table came in and sat after we had been waiting & were greated & placed drink orders right away we got up & left. I know we will not be missed, but the least I could do was leave an honest review for new folks to Maiden. Good luck if you try to get served here!

The best breakfast I have had in a long time!! If you're in the area and looking for the perfect breakfast this is the place! I highly recommend the biscuits!!Dine in: Yes

A friend from Church recommended Brookwood Cafe to us. I had heard of them, but had never visited. Today was our first of many visits to come! The food was delicious and service was spot on. You have the option of cafeteria line or ordering from the grill. The food was very fresh and tasty. Prices were very reasonable. I would definitely recommend Brookwood Cafe & Catering.

Had a wonderful meal. Yummy fried chicken, fried squash and green beans. Topped off with pecan pie good friends and a retirement party!!! Surprise party very nice!!!Food: 5/5

Food wasn't worth the price got beef brisket sandwich not much flavor at all but it did look good not really like home cooked country food. Kid-friendliness: Staff was ok Resturant seemed to be in order.
