Cookies: 2/5 I got three different flavors that all came in packs of 3. So the rating is consistent with all three versions. They all had a crumbly texture...one that basically disintegrates in your mouth as it soaks up your saliva. The flavors were fairly subtle so while you can taste the distinct flavor of each flavor it wasn’t much of an impact.
Really good chocolate chunk cookies . The cookies were $18 for six 6" cookies, tax included, and were gift packaged. No mess or clean up required like baking cookies at home.
It is very difficult for a cookie to impress me but this one did. I have not had cookies that have a similar taste profile where you can truly taste the browned butter and sea salt. It also has the right amount of crumbly and density, like shortbread but more airy. Highly recommend the original. The gluten free choc mint did not disappoint as well. It wasn't overly sweet and neither the chocolate nor the mint was overpowering, instead they complemented the base recipe well. Only wished we had gotten more. A little steep at $1.25 a cookie but you should definitely at least try it.
The staff was friendly and polite. I think if I was a local it would have impressed me more. The cookies were good and obviously fresh made. Would stop by again if I'm ever in that area again for sure.
These taste like “astronaut food” cookie dough you might get at a space museum. The flavor is sort of there, but they’re so dry and crumbly and light, almost freeze-dried tasting. Also they aren’t cheap for small, not very good, cookies. I could see getting really into this bizarre texture because it is so different, but unfortunately I think the average person who’s looking for a cookie is going to be disappointed here.
Best cookies I've ever had. I always stock up when I am in the area. It's great that they ship because I live in the Bay Area & they're down in Paso Robles. If you get a chance, go try these cookies, you'll be leaving with some. Best flavors are Original and Almost
Been here a few times in the past, small pricy cookies with different flavors. Will be nice when sampling is allowed again.
Two stars because one flavor of cookies was decent. No stars for the store or customer service last night. The store owner or employee seemed very confused and reluctant to sell us cookies. She seemed as if she was being held at gunpoint having to nervously put money in a bag at the bank. Is she not used to people walking up to her "stand" not store because she's blocking off the whole thing and offering her money for her goods? We are two very normal looking people but we do happen to be Hispanic so maybe that was it? Keep your salty dusty cookies lady. We won't be back.
The cookies are great - not the regular cookie but sort of shortbread but denser, we loved them! The almond flavor is great. The place and the staff could be a bit more welcoming however.
It doesn’t taste very good, it doesn’t look good and it’s absolutely not wort the money. Cheap cookies from Target taste better. I didn’t get why it’s so overhyped
