Great place to get your basics in hardware. I especially enjoy the family atmosphere. An old reliable. Been perusing Browns for 32 years myself. They seem to always have what I need, if not they help you find alternatives or even special order what ya need. TYVM!

Awesome local store that has been around forever. The workers are very helpful and despite the smaller size they have so far had almost every thing I need. They stock high quality stuff.

Neighborhood hardware store is my best source for making my repairs. Better than any big impersonal stores like Lowes & Home Depot.

This place is the real deal. Willing to help and provide a recommendation even if they don't have what you're looking for. But they have a surprising amount of inventory for their size. On multiple occasions they've had the part I needed when Home Depot didn't. Better yet, they're on top of their inventory and can quickly tell you whether they have it or not if you pop in or give them a quick call.

Incredibly knowledgeable and helpful staff who cheerfully advise on projects.

Dogs are welcome! They gave my pup a milkbone treat while I waited to have keys made, and now he wants to go in every time we walk on E Broad! The store has EVERYTHING and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

I love Brown's Hardware. I've been coming here my entire life. Much easier to find things here than in the mega stores and the staff is amazingly helpful and friendly and they've worked here forever. I get keys made here and they always work fine. This hardware store has been around since the 1800s. It was robbed back in the days of cowboys with dynamite. Defiantly a Falls Church staple. Support small locally owned businessness.

One of the benefits of local hardware stores with history is that they know the older houses and fixtures specific to buildings in the area. Brown's always has the replacement parts impossible to find elsewhere! I have not once gone in to the store and walked out empty handed or told they dont have what I need. Very reasonable prices and lots of cool unexpected things too.
