I'd vote- ZERO- stars if I could . RUDE. poor customer service. In short basically acted like it was an inconvenience to sell my mom a pair of Birkinstocks. ... it's a shoe store that does not seem to care about selling shoes unless you the customer fit the sales staffs "profile" .... I WILL NEVER SPEND MY HARD EARNED MONEYVAT THIS STORE AGAIN.
I was needing a supportive full black athletic shoe and due to very wide feet and extremely high insteps, finding a comfortable shoe that fits is difficult. Jonathan was very knowledgeable of the possible choices, took his time to get to know what activity I would be doing so he could recommend the appropriate shoes. He was able to find exactly what I needed, they fit and supported my feet and instep. Thank you for taking the time to fit very difficult feet.
Will not return to the Kearney store! Was treated so badly by an employee named Missy or Misty!! She was so rude and treated me like I was nothing! She never smiles and always has a rude tone. Even the other employee working was looking at me with disbelief that she was talking to me this way. Very unprofessional!! I will go to the Grand Island store from now on.
Both of the times I went into Browns, the clerk working was the blonde, middle aged-woman. She openly treated me with disrespect and attitude, even rolling her eyes at me at one point. I like the locality of the store and I’m sure the other clerks are kind, helpful, and amazing at their job, but I was unfortunate to have the clerk who had me furious walking out because of how I was treated, with only having been in the store for about 3 minutes. Side note, I am not a rude or complicated customer and I never write reviews, but the way I was treated with this specific clerk is really disheartening and angering.
This place is great! I was dealing with foot pain from years of wearing cheap products because of how they looked. Met with Tyler, he took one look at the bottom of my current shoes, suggested a different type, and by the next week my pain was gone. Highly recommend.
Great place! I injured my left foot a couple years ago and I went in and they put me in a boot that feels great with my foot!! If ever back in Kearney I will definitely buy another pair from Brown’s.
Wow where to start I have always been reserved about going in cause hey who wants to shop for shoe's...but stopped in and Misty greeted us and analyzed my problem and knew just what it would take to get me fixed up... thanks so much for the good work!!!
The last two times I have been in there the saleswoman has been absolutely unprofessional and hovers like a leech. I LOVE Browns but will not be shopping in Kearney anymore, ever! If I see her face I will walk out. Going back to Scottsbluff where they treat you with respect and want your business.
Was treated very rudely by the woman behind the counter as I tried to exchange for a smaller size! I will NEVER return to this store after being treated so poorly!
I had a very bad experience, the sales rep was very lazy and not friendly. She was not helpful and didn't act like she wanted to help.
