Brownwood VA Outpatient Clinic

I gave 3 stars because one was completely rude and just walked away refused to help, that would be Colleen. Beth on the otherhand was extremely helpful.

There is a new doctor at the VA Medical Clinic in Brownwood, and he is amazing! He asked questions and actually listened to my answers. When I asked questions, he answered. He spent time explaining things. I sure hope this is a turning point to upgrade this clinic that has gotten so many bad reviews due to the disrespectful and uncaring attitudes of some of the front line personnel. I actually felt like I was heard and respected. Very good doctor's appointment this year! I am impressed and grateful.

Every time I call to make an appointment I get transferred and hung up on. Been happening for weeks. Most people I call couldn’t care less

No longer a viable option for care. Since Cooper left there hasn't been a provider willing, worth or able to provide any care whatsoever. The hospital has never been an option either, looks like driving to Temple has become a reality for me. I do have to say that the ladies up front and a couple of the nurses are top notch and do care! Unfortunately! Without a provider the whole facility is useless.... The PA that is currently there has an extremely unwarranted high opinion of himself and would in my opinion serve the VA better as a janitor. When I first started going to B-wood VA it was without a doubt an extremely capable facility second to none, now, it's simply a joke.

My experience a few years ago, concerned the front office staff. One older lady was particularly Rude as she could be. The Staff defended her and even went as far to deny me service. It was a very shameful experience.

All of the doctors and nurses I've encountered are awesome. They're professional and I feel that I'm getting excellent medical care. I do agree with other reviewers, the front desk ladies are quite inhospitable. If you don't like your job, move on.

Worst VA experience I’ve ever had. Very rude ladies at the desk. All the good Doctors are gone. There’s got to be a reason for that. Total waste of my time and gas. No sincerity at all. They should find another occupation.

Those ladies that work at the front desk are so RUDE! I took my dad in because he is 82 years old and yes he moves slow and can't hear very well and is somewhat confused, but that doesn't mean they need to be rude to him. he fought for our country and our freedom. He deserves to be treated with respect!

I have been going to the Brownwood CBCC for over 10 years and I have yet to have an incidence of someone being rude. All the staff and doctors are really professional, attentive an polite. We need to remember that they are super busy and they also deserve courtesy.
