Dr. Courtright botched BOTH my sister and mom's root canals. Also he must use expired novicane or something because I have asked multiple people and just like me, they’ve experienced their novacane not working at all. So painful. Also he does spit in your mouth while he tries to tell jokes. Worst dentist I have ever been to, honestly. His work has traumatized me, I’ve been in therapy coping with a severe dental fear! As a now older kid, PLEASE don't bring your kids here!
My husband has been going to this office for several years and now we question how many issues were real vs Dr. Courtright just wanting to make extra cash. He went to his office at the end of July 2016 to have a filling done. Upon examination of the tooth Dr. Courtright explained that the tooth was "dead" and my husband needed the tooth to be removed as soon as possible. My husband was just at the office 2-4 weeks prior and received X-rays, how did Dr. Courtright not notice this tooth was supposedly "dead"?! This "filling" appointment happened on a Thursday night and my husband went Monday Morning to an oral surgeon who said the tooth could be saved and would not remove the tooth. He suggested going to a different dentist. Here we are two weeks later and now I receive a bill for the filling he was to have done. How can Dr. Courtright bill us for a filling when he told us to go to an oral surgeon to have the tooth removed? The only explanation I could think of is either pocketing extra cash or insurance fraud. Either way, stay away from this practice! ***UPDATE IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNER*** You did not send records to the current dentist just two months ago nor did my husbands current dentist state the diagnosis and treatment were correct or were of exceptional quality. They in fact had to correct the mistakes that you made which resulted in my husband needing more treatments to be done. Since my husband has left your practice this teeth have improved drastically. I still believe that you gave the wrong diagnosis and by doing so you can perform unnecessary treatments and profit off your patients.
The people here are great! They are very friendly and remember you after not being there for 6 months to a year. I travel for work and have a schedule that is irregular and they do a great job accommodating to it. They do the small things well which makes the experience a lot easier.
If you want to be told jokes and him spit in your mouth, go here. The man spits when he talks and doesn't wear a mask while working on your teeth. He wants to tell more jokes than actually do anything. Go somewhere else!!
Excellent dentist and a great person. Very conscientious. I highly recommend him.
