We tent camp in the 'primitive' area. It's our favorite, and absolutely gorgeous. We've only ever had 2 issues in all the years camping out there. This time, the gate keepers were absolutely AWESOME and I can't thank them enough for being so kind and helpful when some park goers decided to act like they didn't have sense. It was handled quickly and calmly with no big ordeal. Cannot express just how much camping at Brushy is totally worth it.
Very nice. Not right up against each other in campgrounds. People very respectful. No loud music. Just Americans having a good time.
It's a nice place to visit from time to time... This is an RV and/or Tent camping only... There are no cabins or shelters for overnight sleeping!Rooms: 1/5
Lots of shade & nice swimming area with easy access to boat lauch.Location: 5/5
This is hands down the most beautiful campground I’ve ever visited! Me and my fiancé tent camped in the T100’s and it’s was perfect. They provide a sandy lot for your tent and a bench and a campfire on each lot. Our lot, T107, was backed up right to the water. They provide lots with and without electric ours was no electric. The bathrooms could’ve been cleaner, but you can’t expect too much out of a bathroom at a campground. All in all, I will definitely be returning soon!
This was a really cool place to take the family. Nice water, plenty of space.
Love this place!! We got the annual pass for only $40!! :- Still love it years later!!
By far THE best campground at Lake of the Pines! Wooded areas, great tent camping, friendly staff and great rates. Beautiful lake with swimming, fishing and boating. Boat ramp inside camping area with plenty of parking for boat trailers. Must go to recreation.gov for reservations. Park is safe with gated entrance. Family fun! We love it there!
Spent a few days there to relax and enjoy a little peace and quiet. Don’t have any complaints about the park. The park hosts were all nice and helpful, good water pressure and spots were level enough. Fire pits were cleaned out and everything around the site was clean. Plenty of shade to make it seem cooler on the hot summer days.
Christmas Lights with group of kids from church. Beautiful and well worth the time..kids got to see Santa too and talk with him and/ some sat on his lap. K
