Great Park nice and clean. Plenty of activities for my children loved all the colors and fine. Thank you so much to all they keep up this wonderful park!
Well once upon a time this was probably a really nice park; however, it is in need of repair now. The wooden pirate ship has holes that you could loose a toddler in. There are boards missing in on some railing and stairs too. The other side of the park is missing one saucer swing. The other swings are decent. The giant climbing pyramid ropes are showing their age. You can't read any of the signs. The climbing wall is gone. My son and I were very disappointed. I am going to submit this on Pensacola 311 to hopefully get it on the list of parks to get repaired before someone gets hurt.
There is a sidewalk around the perimeter of the park which is good for walking laps. They have swings for all ages, but limited playground equipment. Many small trees provide limited shaded areas. The big wooden boat has stairs and is 3 stories high; it's cooler under the 2 above floors, and the top floor is directly in the sun. There is usually evidence of high schoolers who hang out on the boat after hours. There's a picnic area that it covered.
We have been here before. It has been awhile and we like it here. Plenty of space for kids to play and roam. A nice gazebo like structure to have a snack or lunch. It is right next to a library. Convenient for us since we don't live that far. But it's super nice if you could live close by. There are suggestion for things to do. A play structure resembling a pirate ship for kids to enjoy. There's time it gets busy and sometimes there's no one around.
Beautiful little park. We were traveling, stopped for lunch, walked the dog and enjoyed this park. It is between a library and a residential area. Wonderful visit Dog-friendliness: Dog walk with potty bags available. Picnic area: Very nice!
The ship playhouse that you see in the pictures is boarded up and broken. Only one of the 2 round swings is actually still up and working. The rope climber was absolutely terrible and not sturdy at all. We feel very dissatisfied and lied to from the pictures.
Nice small playground that’s next to the library. Playground area could definitely use some updating, but our 5 year old had a wonderful time. We also enjoyed the winding paved walking path with our dogs. The wooden ship looked very cool, but unfortunately is under construction.
The park is always very clean and very safe feeling. The kids have a great time we go although there's really not a whole lot to do there as far as equipment but they have a great place to walk around the park where you can see everything it's dog friendly and have benches throughout the walking area so you can sit down if needed and plus there's lights for after it gets dark which is great cuz most parts don't have that And there's lots of open grass area or kids can go run and play. And the only drawback is there's not very much equipment. They do have a big pirate ship which is under construction right now or if it was about a week ago, swings and a large rope climbing area. Each of the sections that have playground equipment has wood chips instead of sand.
Love this park for walking and playing Pokémon Go. There is a sidewalk that winds around the park. I just wish there was a playset or more for my young grandchildren to do. There is a climbing rope, swings, and a pirate ship but the pirate ship has been closed down for about a year now. The sign says it needs repairs, but no repairs are being made as of this post.
A fun spacious park that curves around the library with swings, climbing ropes, and a great paved walking path around the perimeter. Our little boy likes the big 3 story pirate ship near the front. Sadly it's not as nice as it used to be, but it's still pretty fun! We had fun walking out dog around the path.
